Had to replace the old gasket on my cast iron wood stove and this did the trick. Just needed to remove the old gasket, laid this in place, and cut to size. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Had issue with BQ grill lid creating a draft on windy days making gas grill burners to go out while cooking due to 1/4" gap between BQ grill lid and frame. I purchased wood stove gasket with adhesive backing, after lining bottom of SS lid I no longer worry about BQ grill burners going out while cooking. I also noticed temperature settings no longer fluxuate when grilling I set temp to 450 & it goes to 450 and holds temp. I ve used BQ grill quite a few times and the wood stove gasket with adhesive is holding up quite well and it eliminated the draft. This item is for fireplace door gaskets but also works on high temperature BQ grills, too.

Adhesion is excellent, trimming to make sharp corners is easily done, well worth the cost.

I didn’t know it was possible to make something like this cheaper, but this company found a way. Way too narrow to fit around the glass to seal like it is supposed to do.
