I am a novice on a hand pan. I have seen them, but never played one. This is easy to back with a backpack bag. It also come with a cleaning cloth, collapsible stand, and mallets. I don't play with the mallets at this point. The sound is good and soothing. It's a great beginner instrument and good quality.

This is nice. I've played it as well as putting it in the rain. It has to be raining hard for it to make much sound.

Seemed well-made, and could have been nice to play with, but one of the tones was totally flat and dull. Tuning was poor, so we returned it.
