Zero issues using the egg holder. Worked as designed keeping eggs from bouncing around the pot. Retrieval from the hot water was a no-brainer as well using the included handle.

The Egg Dropper eliminates the normal problems of hard boiling eggs. Consistent , no cracks and so easy to use. The summer cookouts will be a breeze. Highly recommended

I like the way you can boil six eggs and they all go in the water and come out at the same time. Makes the job much easier and faster.

EGGS don't crack anymore. Fits great in pans

Boiling water works just as well as this contraption, actually as the water keeps them moving so they cook evenly. Besides, eggs still do not peel easily even after ice bath. And I used VERY fresh eggs, right from the market and cold. Not worth it imho.

Too big and clumsy

I was tired of eggs bouncing around the pot and into each other while boiling. This egg holder took care of that! I have both large and X-Large sized eggs and they fit comfortably in the holder. Since the entire thing is made of the same soft silicone, it felt a bit wobbly when used. Due to the weight of the eggs and the soft nature of the silicone, each arm bends inwardly when all holders are filled and then picked up by the center tab. The eggs are in no danger of falling out, but ensure you’re being careful when transferring from a flat surface into a pot of boiling water. The eggs stayed firmly in place while boiling and after an appropriate amount of time (I did 10 mins for full hard boiled eggs), I used the included plastic hook and pulled the holder out of the pot and immediately plunged the whole thing into an ice bath. It was nice not having to use a slotted spoon to fish each egg out. After the eggs were cooled, I removed from the holder. They did not slip out easily, so I had to use my fingers to push each egg up and out of the holder. I did have 2 eggs crack, but that was because I didn’t bring them up to room temp before boiling. Since the eggs were contained in the holder, the cracked eggs didn’t move around the pot causing streaks of egg to get everywhere. That was a huge bonus! Overall the product worked great. I just wish the arms of each holder was a bit more rigid so it didn’t seem like each one was flopping around.
