Economical SIM card for European travel
This made our trip to Europe so much easier. It was a life saver in multiple situations. We were in five different countries and it worked great in each country. I just popped it into my iPhone 6 before landing and upon arriving in the UK, turned on my phone and it worked great. The only minor hiccup we had was when we went to Spain it didn't seem to want to work. Once I got to my hotel with wi-fi I chatted with 3 tech support on their website and they had me change the setting to turn on roaming and set Carrier from Automatic to manual and then they told me which carrier to select for Spain. It worked great in France, Italy and Switzerland as well. One thing to know is that if you are texting or calling a European number, you need to dial a + (on iPhone press and hold on the 0 to get a + sign) and then the country code and then the number. As for your phone number, it leads with a 0 for some reason, you need to omit that 0, so your number when you have the SIM will be +44 then the number on the back without the leading 0. It took us a bit to figure that out, but once we did everything was seamless. Make sure you buy enough minutes/data because you can't top off without a UK credit card. We had plenty of data for our 2 week trip.

No top ups
This SIM worked as advertised in London, after some initial trouble setting it up. Luckily, online chat support is available 24/7, although the wait was over 30min, and it did get sorted out after a couple of hours of trying.Unfortunately, once purchased, this SIM card can only be topped using a UK credit card. I tried to get more data, but that doesn't appear possible for non-UK credit cards.

I had to call UK customer service for any custoemr issues. Very poor activations instructions.Do not buy the online card, it is better to buy local country sim card just for peace of mind.

Does not work in the UK! Huh?????
I just came back from a Belfast and Dublin vacation. On recommendation on a travel site, I decided to try getting a sim card before I travel. Usually I get a sim card when I arrive at my destination.Got this card. Pop it into an unlocked phone while here in the US. No problem setting up the phone. Got a +44 tel. number which is a UK number. Connected to T mobile here in the US. Got a welcome text stating that US is part of the Go Roam countries. Access the internet (looking up yahoo.com) and again it worked. Did not try to call someone though as US phone numbers incur a surcharge or top off but I was able to call the number for 3UKOn arrival at Dublin Airport, got a welcome text again and the phone connected to 3 IRL.Went straight to Belfast which is in the UK. Did not work there.NO text, data or phone service. Chat was about as useful as a slingshot in stopping a charging rhino. Managed to go to a 3 store at Victoria Square and explained what I had already done (am a techie of sorts). He said that be believed this is a 3 Ireland sim card which definitely will not work in the UK. 3 UK and 3 Ireland are two separate entities! He tried one fix although he did not have hope for it. What he cannot explain is why I have a +44 tel. number.I asked him if he can sell me a sim that will work in Dublin and he said yes but he won't because he has very strong feelings that as soon as I get back to Dublin, the sim will work again. Besides, he said it is better to get a local sim since I would be in Dublin for a number of days.Guess What? When I got back to Dublin, I got that welcome text again telling me that Ireland is part of the Go Roam countries.Strange that the sim would not work in the Belfast which is in the UK. A UK sim not working in the UK.Re. the function of the card in Dublin. I would say just passable. Right in the city I had times of no data. Thank God there was a lot of free wifi.I would say, not recommended.

Works well in London for data on a Huawei cell phone
Purchased this before for a Paris trip. Worked in one phone and not the other (my wife and I). I didn't do a review but I wasn't completely satisfied but it's a UK company. Bought more for trip to London and we both have the same phone now (a Huawei model). Popped out the stateside sim on the plane upon landing and popped these in. Got some texts from Three that they were configuring the phones and we used the 4g data for 9 days or so to use for google maps and tube and bus apps to show us where and when to catch transit. The phone numbers assigned didn't seem to work for calls but I didn't pursue it very far because I really just wanted access to gmail, web broswers and maps and it worked for that. You basically can't get very lost if you have google maps and apps related to transit. I thought it was worth the purchase.

Perfect for an old couple traveling to Ireland from the US for a week
My wife and I are not tech-savvy at all. We ordered this card for our trip to Ireland for a week. I was skeptical, but thought I could buy another SIM locally if need be.Our experience:a. Able to activate in the U.S. in about 2 minutes. You get the phone number assigned right away, so could provide to our tour contacts.b. Put in SIM on arrival to Ireland. Worked immediately. Was able to use for calls in multiple locations with good coverage. I'll note that due to our inexperience we had trouble texting initially as we did not know the format/protocol for European numbers. If you are geezers like us, you might want to do some quick research before using.c. We really didn't need much data as WIFI is so prevalent now and our tour guide had GPS. So we didn't have a need to top at all. I know we would have needed a UK credit card, but wasn't an issue as a result.d. The $15 insurance of having a temporary working phone paid off in multiple instances for us.e. I would have liked to use again for later trips, but will end up just tossing and buying another later on.

Outdated products!
Not working at all! It kept saying this SIM card can’t be activated. After spoke to a sale person in 3store in London. It told me to get a refund, 1G data SIM no longer supported.
