Can this be put on bleached hair

Personally I wouldn't, it is only meant for brown hair. Bleached hair is more porous and would likely take up the colour unevenly, also it would end up a khaki colour.....not nice at all. If you want brown hair on bleached, the red pigment needs to be put back first, and unless you are a professional hairdresser I would not entertain the idea. I have been in the trade for over 50 years, so I speak from experience

Will this tone down my brassy highlights to match my 5/0 root colour a bit?

It is not like the wonderful chocolate brown which I used before, but more of a dark grey-brown, I mix it with a tiny bit of red to give it a richer brown.

How is this product supposed to be used? On wet washed hair? No instructions provided.

No instructions came with the mousse but if you look on line it tells you to towel dry your hair then comb through and dry as normal. This worked fine although I had a lot of grey which I didn’t really expect it to cover completely but it did make a big difference. Hope this helps

Is this product cruelty free?

I have used the light brown colour for several years . I prefer the mousse to a dye as it washes out when I wash hair so it is not permanent. It makes your pillow case a bit coloured too but not much and washes out anyway. I am grey going white and the mousse just gives a bit of colour which I prefer to being white. I t also helps to style my hair as I use a hair styler by Vidal Sassoon. I find it is really great but I wish they did a dark blond as well as I would like to try that. The beige one is a bit too grey so I stick to the light brown.
