Exceptional durability and sealing mechanism -- I truly appreciate the odor-lock & discreet storage
I wasn’t sure about these ziplock-style storage bags at first. They are made using an impressively sturdy, durable mylar material. The majority of bags from the 50-pack I received have proven to be quite airtight. Of course, you may run into a few exceptions that allow some air to escape, but overall, these are as close to the gold standard as I’ve seen yet. I love how tightly these seal, never allowing the bag’s contents to escape until the childproof safety zipper has been unlocked successfully. The safety zipper does require a bit of dexterity to unlock as you must press the two tabs simultaneously, so for anyone who struggles with hand mobility, these might be a pass. Back to the mylar material – not only is the outside lined but ALSO the interior. This ensures that the bags keep in any odors and are both light- and water-resistant. But perhaps my all-time favorite thing about these bags is that while they maintain a slim profile, they have an expandable bottom, which unfolds to about two-inches wide, allowing the bag to stand on its own and store more than it seems at first glance. If you’re looking for both a secure and discreet pouch that conceals its contents entirely, these could be for you.

Quality storage bags
I love these bags because they are so much better for the environment than disposable ones. They seal well and wash easily for the next use. I would definitely like to get another set of these to have on hand.

useful mylar resealable bags
These bags have been great for around the campsite. I've used them while in the canoe to stow electronics. I've taken sandwiches and snacks on bicycle rides and hikes. I have also used them to store dry cooking herbs in, but probably won't use them for long-term storage, as they seem to leak some air around the closure. They feel heavy duty and the bottom expands a little so it will stand up on a flat surface.

Awkward
Didn't love these, unfortunately. The zipper is on the face, which I found awkward and limiting. Further, they don't seal well, which really limits their uses

Bigger than they look because the bottom unfolds to 2 inches wide
I would have to say that these are the King of ziplock type bags because of how durable they are and how secure the zipper mechanism is. I’m not kidding, it literally looks like and works like a zipper with an additional child resistant safety lock where a plastic clip locks into a circular tab. To release, you must squeeze the two tabs together. That part requires some finger dexterity because the clips don’t offer much to squeeze together. The bags are reusable depending on what you decide to store in them. Inside, the bags are mylar and therefore, not only airtight, but also light tight, odor tight, and water tight. Another nice feature that I like is that the bottom of the bag will fold out about 2 inches allowing them to hold much more that they look. It also allows them to stand on their own.The only issue that I have is using the name “Exit Bag” because if you do a search, you’ll discover another meaning for the term.If you have a need for a very secure pouch that won’t disclose the contents in any way, this is your bag.

Don’t open well
These don’t open well to get snacks or food in and out of the bag. They don’t look appealing to the eye.Awkward to open and close. Not a fan and wouldn’t get these again or recommend them.

NOT AIRTIGHT / WATERTIGHT AT ALL! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
These bags are useful, but unfortunately, not airtight as described. Did a quick test with some water and it leaked miserably. I'm not taking drops-- it all ran out the bag faster than Usain Bolt. If water leaks out, then air will too. Just for kicks, I blew into and zipped... pressed on the bag and you could hear the whoosh as the bag deflated. This bundle of 50 comes sealed in five bags of 10, which is very convenient. The bags look exactly as pictured. The pull on the zipper has two prongs that snap into a plastic depression for added security. You can open it by squeezing the prongs together to release the zipper pull but you don't have to. You can simply push the prongs in at the same time using the pad of your thumb while your other fingers push against the outside rim on the other side. Either way, it is more difficult than just pulling it apart or sliding the zipper and requires more force, so if you have very young children, they will most likely struggle to get into this, if they ever do.

Durable bags
The bags are durable and can be used as a cold zip lock bag. I don't like that you cannot see the contents of the bag, but there's room on the outside where you can write the contents of the bag either on the front or back of the bag. It can be used to store, freeze, or used as an ice pack. It's worth the money and I consider it as a good investment for many items that you want to keep in a secure bag.
