It works.
It’s really hard to stay hard while mixing this up.

Love this product.
I like the Luna Bean hand-casting kit and I love that they have refills available for both the alginate molding powder and the casting stone. This is easy to mix and pour. The instructions are for mixing the whole bag at once, so if you're using small molds, have many of them ready to go. I didn't read all the instructions and just mixed the casting stone into the water. That was the right way to do it, but I found out after that you should add the powder to the water and let it soak in for 3-5 minutes before mixing and then mix for 5 to 8 minutes. Small castings can be demolded in an hour. Adult hands could take up to 4 or 6 hours. I had a little left over and made a thin keychain and it was set up in 30 minutes. Remember to let it cure for a couple days to a week so it's completely dry before sealing it. This is better than regular plaster of paris when you follow the instructions. It's whiter, harder, and gives a nicer cast that doesn't get powdery.

Easy to mix and use in a variety of projects
This is the plaster that is normally sold as part of a larger kit with the material to make a mold. If you want to make multiple casts (and your mold will support it) you need more plaster. In my case I used it with some silicone molds I already had and started out by making a batch using only 200g of the plaster instead of the whole bag. Given that the instructions say add 875ml to 1200g (the whole bag) it was easy to calculate the correct amount of water. The results came out very cleanly and I look forward to cast more things with this plaster. For instance, cake molds, shaped ice cube molds (which is what I used), and silicone candle molds all make for great molds to make small items that you can then paint and decorate.

This is a refill
I inadvertantly ordered this not realizing it is a refill. I am certain it is still usable and intend to try it out, but what makes that a bit challenging is that it doesn't include any kind of directions. Even the ratio on the packaging would be great! I guess I will be doing a little experimentation! Ha!

Good media
I have had really good luck using this casting media. This simply works. It may not be the strongest, but it is not cement so you cannot expect it to be that strong. IT also demolds rather easily.

Probably Works OK
I didn't realize this was refill kit for something else. I saw the multi use part of the description and thought I could use it to case plaster molds for painting. I am sure it will work for that, but I currently don't have time to figure out the ratio of water to plaster in order to use this. Multi-use instructions would be handy.

Easy to use and works well
I grabbed this to use for some quick plaster casting to show my kids what to do, and it works well. Just a simple bag of plaster in a box like most of them, and it dries nicely and seems just the same as the other name-brands.
