KEEN Women's Sarasota Slide Sandal

These shoes are exactly what I have been looking for; a comfortable open toe slide/sandal with substantial sole and good arch support (I have what I would call a normal arch) and sturdy construction. My normal size is 8.5 or 9 Medium, I ordered an 8.5 based on my other Keen footwear, and they fit perfectly (however, as comparison, my Teva's are size 8). I have been wearing them every day, all day, for the past week, and I have not experienced any of the problems that other reviewers have expressed having with theirs. A great shoe at an excellent value ... and I love the color, cascade brown. Once again, Keen rocks!

Based on the other reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. I bought a half size smaller than usual based on reviews, and that was a good thing. I typically wear an 8 and have a medium width foot with a slightly high arch. I love these sandals! They're not too big, in fact I could adjust straps even more and they'd be a bit tight. They look even better than I expected, and seem well made. I love KEEN and almost always have success with KEENs. These are heavier than the sandals with a really flexible sole, but a bit lighter than the more heavy duty ones with a lot more strap construction on top. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the chemically smell out of the box - though it does dissipate in a few days - and the grooved designs in the sole are a little uncomfortable if I have been standing for a while. Otherwise, they're a win.

I got these slides because I cannot wear flat sandals that offer no support. The Velcro tabs help to adjust fit easily. The first day that I wore them my feet burned and ached at the end of the day, but nothing that required a pain reliever. I chalk it up to my foot forming itself into the foot bed because the next day of wear I did not experience any pain or fatigue in my feet, nor any day since. These slides do exactly what I bought them for, support in an easy to wear warm weather option to flip flops.

I am a huge Keens fan. I have 3 other types of sandal and 1 pair of shoes and I adore them all...very soft on the feet, good support and very comfortable. i was hoping that a reasonably priced slide would come along so I jumped on this purchase. They feel very "cloddy", stiff and not comfortable at all. Very difficult to walk in, my feet slide regardless of how tight I adjust the straps. Also, I must have an unusually small little toe, as it keeps popping out below the top strap. I will be returning this pair and will stick to my Crocs for my "around-the-house" slide.

This is a very nice looking shoe. That being said there were a couple issues that prompted a quick return, so I did not spend any time actually wearing the shoes. This only addresses the issues with the pair I received.1) Stitching that touches your foot was rough and irritating. There is a lot of stitching for the velcro pieces and it almost felt like velcro itself was rubbing against top of my foot. It wasn't velcro, just stitching. I LIVE in sandals, so I don't think the tops of my feet are all that sensitive.2) The left shoe insole felt like a normal insole and fits against my instep, the right shoe insole - lumpy in the wrong places, leaving a gap at instep.Both of these issues would have been from the manufacture end.*I also noted these MAY have a narrow fit - I based that on how much Velcro was showing when I adjusted the fit. Quite a bit of velcro was showing once the width was comfortable.

Had to return them. If I adjusted down to a size where they would not fall off my feet, there was not enough Velcro on Velcro and they would pop open when I walked. Surprising since I have a high instep and wider feet. And I could not adjust them tight enough. Someone with a narrow foot would definitely not be able to keep them on their feet. Very disappointed! Ever Keen shoe that I absolutely loved and could wear all day without sore feet have been DISCONTINUED!

I love these shoes and have numerous Keens. They always fit just right and are well made. The pair I received has stiff stitching or something under the fastener over the arch and it tends to scratch. I've tried to cut it, put duct tape on it, wear a little piece of moleskin, thinking the stiff thread would wear away, but it hasn't yet -- making the pair I received not as comfortable as they COULD be so I don't wear them as much as I would like to, unfortunately. I do love Keens!

Great comfortable shoe. Love Keen shoes, and the price was awesome on these. I normally wear a 7 1/2 in sandals, and an 8 in boots. I ordered a 7 1/2. They were too small. Easy return and resend. No problem there. The shoe is really good quality. The velcro adjustments are easy and really makes the shoe customized for your foot. These will be my "go to" sandals all summer long.
