A green hue...
Having used MANY Angelus products in trainer restoration to date, unfortunately, as a colour match, this is my first 'fail' from them. The yellow has a significant green hue to it, so if you're looking for a canary or daffodil yellow, as most would expect to see from a yellow dye, you're not going to get it from this. I reiterate, Angelus is usually right on the money, but be mindful in this instance if standard yellow is your goal when dyeing/redressing.

Better than expected, bright colour
Used on a pair of suede trainers I put in the washing machine and they lost colour. After cleaning and brushing de suede, I put a thin coat on the leather using the cotton bud provided and with a small flat brush pencil for the hard to reach areas. The left shoe is the treated one and the right it's untreated. A second hand is recommended after they dry completely. They don't look as new, but the results it's much better than I thought, even for a colour like yellow with low opacity. For 2 hands of dye on this pair of shoes, I usee 3/4 of the bottle. For the price it's not bad. Something strange: some of the dye has dried on the skin of my hand and it turned into a fluorescent bright yellow. The shoes being darker based, turned into a warmer yellow, so basically it depends a lot on the colour of the surface you are going to repaint.

This product isn't perfect, and I can't say that I was very optimistic but overall I'm pleasantly surprised. These are my favorite shoes and Ive worn them at least once a week for the past 3 or 4 years. Being in quarantine and needing something to do, I decided to give them a wash. They looked pretty nice and clean when I scrubbed them down but when they dried...disaster. They looked like old man shoes. So I skimmed the internet for solutions. I know yellow suede is pretty hard to revive, and I watched a couple of videos of this product on YouTube but they were all for red or black suede, so I was nervous as to whether r not this product would bring my yellow kicks back to life. When the product arrived, the box said "leather dye" which upset me and I was ready to send it back, but thank goodness I actually looked at the product and it sure enough said suede on the bottle (weird packaging mishap I guess). The product also comes with a round fluffy "brush" (really its like a cottonball on wire) but I used a small paint brush instead. Much easier to control the product. I also only did one coat and I still have a little more than half left in the bottle. The first pick is the product, the second is the before, the third is one dyed shoe compared to the untreated shoe, and the last is the final results. Pros: - Will bring the color back - great for the price - pretty easy to use Cons: - Color may not be exact (but to each is own) - Consistency is super loose and liquidy - Leaves shoes a bit rougher than suede It's not perfect, some parts are a bit darker than others due to the liquid consistency overlapping parts you've already dyed, but all in all, I'm happy with the results and happy I done have too throw my shoes away!

I am extremely pleased with this product! I was given a sofa that was a very pale buttery color; more beige than yellow. I wanted a bright, vibrant yellow. I even added a little sparkle to it, which is not visible in the photos, but looks fantastic. I ordered 2 bottles of dye which was just barely enough for a single application. I then finished with a coat of the sealant and am very pleased with the results.

I can't speak to intended use on suede but it dyed wood well. I used a sand and sealer on top so I don't know how permanent it is without that. The cotton cloth I used to wipe it on was left for a day before I washed it and most of the yellow came out. I'd put a water proof spay over it if using on suede. I knocked a star off because my bottle was leaking when I got it.
