Work well did an amazing job

First, you do need to use the included adhesion increasing wipe to get it to stick, which is unfortunate both because it smells like a hundred sharpies in a vat of airplane glue (it doesn't say to wear gloves, but for the love of god, wear gloves) and because there is only one packet. There's enough roll to use on several appliances, but you'd have to be prepared to do them all in the same day. Luckily, the product is so horrible that you would not want to use it again after trying it once.One might, I hope, be forgiven for assuming that a roll of tape for going around the base of a toilet would be able to go around the base of a toilet. One would be wrong. There is no stretch or give to the tape, so it's not possible to go around round objects. You can crimp the top together like the edges of a pie to try to force it to work, but why?Everything smells like death, the roll is already popping off, and it's going to be a disgusting, sticky mess to rip off and clean up. The good reviews must be getting a different product. I cannot overstate how bad the smell is and how worried I am that we're all going to get cancer.

After getting tired of caulk-gun mishaps, tried this and so easy and looks nicer than the alternative! Use it correctly though, because in areas we didn't fully scrape the adhesion didn't work perfectly.

So far so good! It seems to be everything it claims to be and more! I used it in my son's bathroom to line his commode. His commode leaks and the water that seeps around the crevice between the commode and the bathroom floor renders a rank, pissy smell. I had had enough walking by and imagining what a men's pissing contest, or men's restroom at a bar smells like. Laying the tape was a very quick and easy process. I waited for the floor and commode to dry of course. I only added a few drops of eucalyptus oil in the corners of the wall near the commode and behind it just out of habit and the TRAUMA from the stench of piss (but NOT on the caulking tape). So far so good, I'll be back in a week or two to post an update.Update 7/8/24 Yes, I absolutely recommend. Its’s still holding up & does as advertised.

The adhesive didn’t hold, had to use other products so the “self-adhesive” product stayed in place. However, once on, it provided a nice, ‘clean’ look.

border for kitchen counter wrap and faux tile backsplashReady to install and works well as a replacement for caulk to waterproof seams between materials and as a borderdoes not easily bend around corners.I had limited success stretching/bending it around corners but in the end it looks much better (IMO) with a perpendicular overlap then cut through both layers at a 45deg angle so you have a matching edge on both strips; you just have to peel away the excess and stick it back down.

Used this for my toilet base and at first it looked fine but not even 2 days in and it started coming off, It says it is waterproof but it seemed like that was a problem as I had spilled some water on it and may have had a factor of it coming off in less than 2 days of using it. Never buying again.
