Perfect 😊
I’m very happy with these double-ended dreadlocks! The texture and flexibility upon arrival were exactly what I was expecting, making them easy to install and style. Doing an apple cider vinegar soak beforehand is definitely essential—it softened them up nicely and reduced the scratchiness, making them much more comfortable to wear.I’ve tried many brands of synthetic dreadlocks over the years, and these were a great choice. They held their shape well and gave me the look I wanted. I’d recommend them to anyone searching for quality synthetic dreads at a fair price!

Treat the hair before you wear it and it will be perfect!
I’ve been wearing locs for a while and bought this hair to change it up from my usual for the summer. I absolutely LOVE the color, length and texture of this hair and they are by far the lightest weight locs I have worn at this length. After reading reviews and noticing a lot of people were complaining about itching and tangling, I decided to treat my locs before installing. I soaked the locs and my marly hair in an apple cider vinegar and water mix for 12 hours three times to remove factory chemicals that cause itching. If you google this you will find what ratios to use. Then I soaked the hair in fabric softener and water for 12 hours to make it soft - again google can help you with this. After, rinse thoroughly with water. Your hair will smell like clean laundry for a few days, but I don’t mind at all!I’ve had these in for almost 3 months and they are still great! Of course there is some tangling and shedding, but nothing excessive. This happens with all locs over time, so completely normal. When I wash my hair I use mousse on my locs to smooth out the crazy hairs. The longer you wear them the crazier they get, but I don’t mind and think that makes them look more natural.Overall a great buy and I’ve already purchased more in a different color for my next installation! If you treat the hair BEFORE you install you should be good!

Super disappointed
I was so excited for these. I wanted to see of I could wear dread extensions before making the commitment to buying the expensive ones. When I first got them I was excited. After installing them they were great for the rest of the night. I also bought a silk bonnet for sleep. I wrapped them up and put on my bonnet and went to sleep. When I woke up and tried getting ready they had knotted themselves together inside the bonnet. Like the fibers were not tight enough and bound to each other?? Had to call out of work to get them out. I was so disappointed. I ended up making the leap and purchasing more expensive dreads. Installed by the same person the same way and I have had no issues. It is a great price but they are not the best.

Cute..
They’re cute, and I have thin hair.. I only got one pack, but it probably would’ve been cuter if I’d used a pack and a half, to 2 packs..

Love these!
Soft and comfortable!!!Easy to clean, install, take out and just hold up!!!Good natural colors. No bleeding, no pre softening, just install. Good quality!!!Probably my go to brand as of now.I have tried 2 other brands and they do not feel like these or as comfortable on the head or scalp.Only thing I can think of is louder colors and not just natural looks. Other than that very happy with the product!

Good for the price + how I prepped for install
The media could not be loaded. I had a good time figuring out how to condition/prep these and learned a few things, so I thought I’d write a review. When I first opened these I considered returning them because of how easily tangled they seemed to get. After a bit of quick reading I saw I needed to prep them, soi figured I’d play around with one package and see what happened. I tried several different methods which you can see in the video. One strand I submerged in boiling water for 30 seconds. It completely ruined the curl and the whole strand was just a matted mess. I ended up just tossing that one.The first strand in the video I soaked in hot water and vinegar for about an hour. The curl didn’t fair much better than the boiling method, but wasn’t a tangled mess. I ended up letting it dry and then brushing it out. I don’t like the look as much brushed out, so probably will end up switching that one out as I think I will have some extra. The second curl in the video I soaked in cold water with a make up brush shampoo. Then rinsed and let it dry.Third I decided to try brushing this one out before soaking it in the cold water/makeup brush shampoo. It was really frizzy when I brushed it, but the curl clump reformed pretty well while it was soaking. The curl looks a little bit more natural to me, so if you like that look better that’s an option.Fourth is basically the same as the second, but I used my regular shampoo. Not a whole lot of difference between the brush shampoo, just ever so slightly fluffier. On all of them I applied just the tiniest bit of my leave in conditioner by rubbing it in my hands and then running my hand along each curl.Once I conditioned them they feel much softer and don’t tangle as easily or stick to each other.Overall I think these are really good for the price if you’re willing to do some prep work. Not sure how they would fare for long term wear. I just plan on wearing them for 3 or 4 days for a festival, so I’ll update after.

One time use
So these were fine, and although I cleansed them thoroughly they were still itchy and scratchy. They looked okay and were fun, but when I went to take them out 4-6 weeks later, my hair had dreaded onto these. So it took longer to take them out then it did to put them in. Such a mess. Also, they look very tattered after one wear and synthetic dreads should last years. Spend money on quality dreads instead of these as a shortcut, unless you wear them very short term.
