DIY Super Silicone Mold (Cube Shape)

The plastic shell is fine but the silicone mold seems off and I could not get it to sit flush to the walls. The pour I did looked all warped. I even tried filling it with warm water and letting it sit, thinking maybe it would help the mold form better to the plastic, but that did not work either.

I would give 5 stars but there's one drawback, this isn't good for layering because if it isn't filled to the top with resin, the mold dents inward creating a distortion in the shape when it cures so you have to recast it using extra resin in order to correct it. Other than that, i love the cure and not needing to make sure the mold is leveled as well is the ease and demolding.

Bought to create paper weights of my wedding bouquet. Works well and can fit a medium sized rose.

To big and resin comes out of the top once u u place too on.

Didn’t work for me, maybe I just need more practice. Threw it away, couldn’t get my project to come out. It was also very small.

I would never go back to a one piece mold, love this one so easy to remove the resin piece from the mold. Easy to clean and re use Recently bought another one,
