Initially I wanted to mount this on my rig as a spot for my phone to get some BTS content. It's not super long so you're limited as to where you can actually mount it on a cage. BUT! I have found that I actually prefer to use it for my Atomos Ninja monitor. Sometimes having a top handle makes my setup feel a little too tall/bulky and this is great if I need a little bit smaller set up. Really well made.

I have had these holding up some Klipsch ProMedia speakers and they work just fine for that purpose.

When coupled with a clamp it's a great carry with support

well... I'm going to call exaggeration on the magic part, but this does add quite a lot of flexibility to my tripod setup. the large locking knob works great to tighten on both balls, and on point with some of the more spendy mounts I have. However, this thing is pretty tiny and lightweight, best to hold pretty small and lightweight accessories.My use of it is pretty limited though and I can see how it would be super handy (maybe even magic) with a cage setup and "stuff" you need to flexibly mount to it.Good stuff, I'm interested in checking out more from Neewer.

Using it to mount an iPad to a camera cage. It’s stable enough for gently waking around.

I wanted these to be as good as my manfrottos and they aren't. Make sure any equipment you use is lightweight and small. They aren't a "bad" product. I think I just expected too much.

This is another well made product by Neewer. It has an all metal construction that I would expect to last a long time. I specifically got this one because of the 1/4" tapped holes in the side of the body that give me more mounting options, and keeps both ball heads free for attaching two accessories.I can get pretty good clamping of the ball heads without having to crank down on the adjustment knob. But if I need it to hold a bit more weight, the size of the knob lets me easily give it that extra clamping force if needed to make sure it stays in place. I'm very happy with this arm.
