The size is perfect.And my son loves to chase the crab around the house. The battery life is super decent, and it is beyond fun for kids. At first, my son was really timid about the crab, but now chases it all over my floor. The crab has sensors for it.Do not run into things from time to time.The sensors do not work and it likes to run into them, but just goes the other way, which is fine. The movement of the crab is just back and forth, and it seems you can turn the music on and off if you would like. My one year old loves to grab the crab while it's crawling around.I like the fact that if he grabs the crab and grabs one of the crab's legs, the motor just stops moving instead of grinding or braking. So easy to use and i would say that the durability is beyond amazing.As like I said, my child can just hold it, put it back down and it just begins to go again.

This was a Christmas gift for my then 6 week old granddaughter. She really didn’t notice it much until 3 months but it was useful for her tummy time. It kept her attention and it’s so cute. Doesn’t work so great on carpet but great on hardwood floors. Battery life was pretty good. The toy is hard plastic so probably not good to chew on but we only used it for tummy time.

The media could not be loaded. My baby could watch the crazy crab for hours! Yes the sound gets annoying but you can turn it off, and you can also slow down the speed of the crab for when they are younger so they aren’t having to whip their neck around so much. I feel like this is great for my little from 2.5 mo, and will still be great at 6+ months and possibly will be a fun toy to chase once crawling starts. However for tummy time now, it’s a winner. My biggest peeve with it is how crazy it is and I’m not a fan of chasing it around the house (as you can see we corralled it for this video). But just get a hula hoop to help with that as well. The lights, movement, and colors catch my baby’s attention and keep her engaged; literally has stopped tears in their tracks many times!!

My baby loves this crap! This crab not only helps with tummy time by keeping my baby engaged, but also has encouraged her to roll over. This crab will keep my baby occupied for a good 10 to 15 minutes, which feels like a lifetime when you are a a mother with a newborn.If you’re an easily overly stimulated person like myself, the crab offers a silent mode**TIP**I would highly suggest buying a Hulu hoop when purchasing this crab because if you do not the crab will walk all over the house and will most likely get stuck under furniture

My four month old might be a little too young to chase this little crab, but he still enjoys staring at it. Unfortunately, it falls over or just gets stuck and stops moving altogether quite frequently. The music is repetitive but not too loud, and the sound the legs make when it moves is not very loud either. I think one of the sensors is significantly weaker than the other, as it takes much longer for the crab to stop and move away on that side.

This toy will be the most useful yet annoying contraption in your house. It plays terrible disco music that children clearly adore. There is a noise free option if you prefer to listen to the fast paced tapping of six plastic legs instead. I will say that my daughter LOVES this thing. We actually have 2 in case one dies. Your kid will do tummy time to their hearts content staring at its ridiculous flashing eyes and smiling face while you contemplate headphones. It has sensors on its claws that only work for walls so it gets stuck sometimes but it will eventually backtrack to annoy you again. I recommend buying a hula hoop to confine the durable creature and prevent it from getting stuck somewhere difficult. Enjoy it! Your kids certainly will!
