Durable and stays put
I’ve been cutting my own hair for a few years now. This silicone head band is rigid enough but still comfortable. Easy to adjust to your head. It’s stays put when pushing your trimmers against the headband when creating your lines. Easy to use, clean and adjust to size of your head. It’s hard enough to see the back of you head, let alone cutting a straight line behind your head, very functional in my opinion.

Works but needs a little improvement
Works pretty well for the most part. If I could add anything it would be some sort of center mark to help you center it on your head. Also the straps loosen a little too easily on your forehead while cutting your hair. The item works but could be great with a couple tweaks.

Looks like it will work.
Came with instructions for assembly of the hair trimming guide which could be improved but it's a simple device. I have made similar guides but this one is made of a flexible synthetic plastic or silicone that fits and grabs without slipping. Someone designed it for ease of use, and it's easy to increase or decrease the overall diameter for a good fit. The last time I got a haircut in a barber shop it cost $45 so to hell with that! Cutting your own hair has difficulties, one of them being how do you get it even in the back when you can't see what you're doing? If there's someone you trust with the cutter this guide will still make it so much easier for them on the first try. The back part, if not properly done looks terrible, but with the proper tools and practice, you can get a professional cut and then worry about the top and sides (Which are not as important as getting that back part clean and evenly done!)JUST A FEW TIPS: The cutter hopefully comes with a range of attachments that snap on or off the blade. Use the longest ones first, that cut off the LEAST amount of hair, then gradually increase how much hair you're removing. Using the guide on the back should NOT be the first thing you do. That's for when the overall hair has been shaped closer to a finished job. The last cutter attachments you should use are the shortest-cutting. The included comb is useful in holding the lengths of hair so you can cut them all about the same. You COULD just start with a really short attachment if all you want is a buzz-cut, but you can do much better than that with a little practice!

Not for people with big heads
I never considered myself someone with a big head until I tried this haircut guide. The fastening mechanism they chose requires using approx. two inches on both sides of the strap to thread it through each end of the closure, leaving enough space to secure it firmly. The issue is that once the mechanism is assembled, there's very little room for the guide to fit comfortably on your head. Additionally, the silicone material is extremely slippery, causing the fastening mechanism to come undone constantly. Since I bought it, I haven’t been able to use it properly: it fits too tightly, and to make matters worse, it slips off easily. They should have chosen a different fastening mechanism or make the guide a solid piece. I do not recommend this product.

Game changer for beginners doing self hair cuts
Youtubers make it look so easy and the first time i attempted a fade without this, i gave myself a high and tight instead because i had to keep adjusting my lines. While the rubber material does not have the best secure fit, for the price i cannot complain. Second time i attempted a medium skin fade with these, i had people complimenting all day at work and from my friends after. I my lines where crisp. Even though i still need more practice fading the lines, but people still thought my haircut was nice and made me feel good about myself because most dont believe me when i tell them i did it myself.

Straps are too short and don't grip well
I bought this trimming guide for trimming the back of my neck. After assembling the clasp to the strap, I tried it on. The straps are far too short for an adult and the straps slip. I checked the guide against the drawings to make sure that it had been assembled correctly. This time it is not operator error. Do yourself a favor and buy a better trimming guide. This one is junk.

It is a valuable addition to any at-home grooming kit.
The AOMGD Neckline Shaving Template is a game-changer when it comes to maintaining a clean and precise haircut, especially at the back of the head. In my experience, it worked like a charm, making the hair-cutting process a breeze. The first use might require a bit of getting used to, but by the second time, I found it incredibly easy to maneuver. The design is user-friendly, allowing for a seamless DIY haircut.
