Have two of these now after the first one being so successful, works great, connects fast, and a damn site better than my wired carplay. Only downside is that my phone battery drains fast on carplay and the phone regularly displays messages about needing to cool down. On the whole, good. Not always best for short journeys, but that's likely due to the standard infotainment system already being good. Car is 2021 merc glc. Little to no lag, occasional blip in audio that lasts a second, every few days. Minor stuff, can't fault it for the money

I bought this to convert CarPlay from wired to wireless in my 2024 Ford (still disappointing it doesn't have this as standard!), plugging it in works completely as expected, setup was simple and straightforward. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C and a USB-C to USB-C cable so you should be able to plug the adapter into either port in your car. The adapter also has a USB-A connector that you can use to charge a device if you only have one USB port in your car. I've always noticed on my car - when using wired CarPlay - the screen is very zoomed in and everything is large. Using the settings web page for this adapter I was able to change the resolution, along with lots of other settings to improve speed and performance, and now CarPlay displays in a much better way! I've used this adapter everyday for months and it works perfectly, it connects within seconds and will remain solid for very long journeys too. I can't fault this product, if your car has wired CarPlay only, this is a MUST!

Yep, it comes with good marketing but basically stops working after a few months. Ours worked great on a Volvo XC90 and iPhones for a few months then the car screen started going blank occasionally. Can put up with that, but the screen and selection lag started getting worse over a few weeks to the point that after 6 months it is now unusable. The lag to begin with was unnoticable and the items seemed great, but now the screen refreshes maybe every 20-25 seconds and it's impossible to select anything as a result. The connections keep dropping and it seems to not like reconnecting. We've tried deleting and resetting all phone connections, repaiting wireless and bluetooth and resetting the Carlinkit device to factory settings but nothing at all works. I've spent 60 quid on an unusable box, that is under warranty, that I cannot get a response on. The manufacturer doesn't respond to any kind of query either by phone, email or whatsapp. Shame - it could be good but simply stops working, as most Chinese made kit does.

It was rather expensive at £80 for something I would expect to cost £30 ish. (I think it has been reduced to £60 now). However in my 2021 Volvo XC 60 which has CarPlay, using this device I now do not need to plug in my iPhone every time I get in the car. It just Bluetooth’s directly from my pocket. Very easy to set up and it always works! Not much effort to plug in I know but so much easier. I use CarPlay much more now. Worth the investment to me anyway.

The performance of this is generally okay. I always re-plug in each time to avoid battery drain in the car, and it’s been mostly reliable connecting easily with not much time to connect to the system in my car. No lag but occasionally sat nav has frozen and needs me to unlock my phone to kick it back into action - I don’t know if this is the device or phone related but can be a pain especially on long journeys, so I’ve started using it less and connecting directly to my car more as a result. Good value but possible improvements could be made but this may not be the Carlinkit’s fault.

I love CarPlay in my 2016 Seat Leon but constantly plugging in the iPhone every time I got in was a pain. Along comes this gadget with a decent discount as well and works straight out of the box. Plug it in, link your phone, ok a couple of commands and I was in business, so easy! Now whenever I get in my car it links within 20 or 30 seconds with my phone in my pocket. There’s a minimum of lag and it turns itself off after a couple of minutes of removing the ignition key. I used a Velcro tab to hold it out of sight in a small storage bin I’ve got. I can recommend it highly enough if you want to upgrade your CarPlay experience!

Got this for my MG4 EV, and it’s been absolutely spot on. What makes it a winner for me is the delay setting—essential for modern EVs where the infotainment system needs to start up first. It kicks in perfectly every time, no hiccups or issues. Super easy to use, just plug and play, and it’s been flawless since day one. If you’re looking for a wireless adapter that actually works, this is the one. Can’t recommend it enough!

Worked ok at first, now will connect very rarely, maybe once out of ten to twenty attempts. not good. Having had a communication from the supplier with updated instructions for the set-up it is now working well.

Mein neues Auto unterstützt Android Auto leider nur per Kabel. Da ich vom Vorgänger den Luxus der kabellosen Verbindung gewohnt war, musste eine Lösung her – und dieser Adapter ist sie! Die Einrichtung war einfach und nachdem ich den Adapter nun schon einige Monate im Alltag nutze, kann ich sagen: Er funktioniert wirklich super. Nach dem Starten des Autos verbindet sich mein Smartphone in der Regel sehr schnell und automatisch. Das Wichtigste: Wenn die Verbindung einmal steht, ist sie absolut stabil. Auch lange Fahrten von über 5 Stunden am Stück meistert er ohne einen einzigen Abbruch. Weder bei der Navigation noch beim Musikstreaming gab es bisher irgendwelche Probleme. In ganz seltenen Fällen dauert der Verbindungsaufbau mal einen Moment länger, aber das ist kein Vergleich zu einem anderen Adapter, den ich getestet hatte. Für jeden, der von Kabel auf Wireless umsteigen möchte, eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Es muy pequeño por lo que casi no ocupa espacio, fácil de conectar y funciona muy bien! Cada vez que entro en el coche se me conecta solo el teléfono directamente sin necesidad de hacer nada y ya me sale CarPlay en la pantalla del coche. Muy buena compra!

Ürünle ilgili internette factory CarPlay diye ibareler vardı. Sonradan takılma multimedia cihazda çalışır mı çalışmaz mı diyerek aldım ama problemsiz bağlandı. İlk bağlantıdan sonra arabayı çalıştırınca kendi bağlanıyor sıkıntısız. Şarkı atlattığımızda 2-2 buçuk saniye kadar arkadan geliyor çok dert değil. Telefonu sürekli şarjda tutmamak ve hep aynı yere koymamak için aldım. İsimi gördü. Tek büyük eksi ürünü kargodan aldığım gün fiyatının düşmüş olması. Ayıp oldu biraz.

Comme décrit, je n'ai aucun problème de connexion avec la voiture et mon gsm (i20 N et samsung A54) pour info dès que je m'approche de la voiture et pas encore assi dedans mon gsm bip déjà pour la connections, je n'ai aucune coupure et liaison parfaite. J'espère que cela va durer dans le temps.
