My old tap broke at the base. The bolt holding it to the sink had rusted through. Having fitted this type of tap to other sinks I was dreading fitting this one. Every manufacturer claims that theirs are easy to fit and only take minutes. I got this new tap and was pleasantly surprised at how well designed the fitting mechanism was and how quickly I was able to fit in on the sink without contortions under the sink or large spanners that would not fit in the small gap between the sink and the tap. I was able to hold the tap in place whilst screwing the cleverly designed nut to hold it. The tails and pipe all fitted into the cut-out of the nut, then using a screwdriver it was very easy to tighten the screws against the plate in order to obtain a permanent fix. The fitting instructions are small but adequate, worth studying to get the fitting order of the washer and fixing plate. This is a fantastic tap - works well and it really is easy to fit!

The only drawback I’ve noticed is that the thinner pipes slightly reduce the water flow, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me, as the overall performance more than makes up for it. All in all, the DAYONE Kitchen Mixer Tap is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. It’s stylish, functional, and built to last—a brilliant choice for anyone looking to upgrade their sink area!

I ordered 2 initially - one for my studio sink where the spray tap was falling apart, and the second one for another sink in the house which had horrible taps. The plumber fitted them, and then came back and fitted the third one to replace the tap in the main kitchen which was OK, but I liked these new ones so much that I decided to change it. The hose for the pull-out is really nice and flexible and easy to use, and so is the switch on the tap to change from normal stream to spray. It is an absolute pleasure to use, and looks stylish too. My plumber is always a bit sceptical about stuff bought online as he's had some bad experiences in the past with poor quality stuff, but he said he thought these taps were good quality, with some weight to them.

Nice profile and finish

I was happy to fit this tap myself, no need for a plumber. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The hard part was getting the old tap off, I had to buy a box spanner, but if and when I need to replace this one I won’t have that issue as the fitting makes much more sense with the screws and will be much easier. The hose and spray feature have made life so much easier, great for dishes and small dogs! It’s been installed for a few months now and absolutely no issues to report.

Looks well but the size of flexible pipes makes flow of water slow raven on full pressure. Otherwise value for money good.

So was a quick job to change the tap. Nothing too difficult.. however, turned the water back on and theres absolutely no pressure coming through the tap, I've not changed anything other than the tap... there's no way it's my fault... the tap is just useless and not even pulling from the hot tap... all is tight and least free, the only thing that's changed is the tap.. now there's nothing.... I'm going to have to put the old tap back on...

Im pleased to say this unit works perfectly. Easy ton install, nice to use, looks good and better value than many alternatives. We'll have to see how well it lasts after a few years as that's the test of the quality of metal and build, but after some months I can say its the best tap Ive ever bought, and i have had a few.
