Cat Dog Cave Bed Washable Pet Bed Soft Pet House Tent and Cushion Mat Inside

My boston, Shorty, loves her cave. Shorty is always cold. She spends a majority of her time in here. The only down side to this is the 'cushioning.' The shell is a thick felt with little cushioning. I use another bed to cushion the bottom and keep it in place. The original pillow lasted 3 days before Cassie, our pit, put a hole in it. Cassie does pick the bed up and shakes it, sometimes with Shorty inside. The cave has held up to the crazy dog test. In the process of getting comfortable it is not unusual for the bed to roll across the floor like a hamster ball. Being felt it is a magnet for hair and dirt. If you a looking for a cave to see if your dog will use one, this is a great choice.

This type of bed is for a very specific type of pet. If he/she likes to burrow under the blankets or get completely covered up inside of small spaces, then they will love this. Most pets are not like that, so you should take the time to analyze your pet's behavior before making the investment.That being said, one of the four dogs likes it. The others just lay on top of it and smoosh it down. The cat already has her own cave bed so she couldn't care less. (She's too busy plotting world domination anyway)Because it doesn't have a rigid structure, I think hand washing and air drying would be best in the long term.And one more point to reinforce: It is SMALL. VERY SMALL. The dog in my photos is a Shih-Tzu that is a little small for his breed and he is about as big as will comfortably fit in the Medium.But since I know my dog's size and his temperment, this was a good purchase for me. It is a little expensive and ships straight from China so it takes a while to arrive. But it works well for me. If you have a little one who likes to burrow, it should for you too.

This bed is similar to another bed I have for my chihuahua all eleven pounds. She loves a warm bed “hidie hole” when we camp. So this fits the bill. Yes I do have to vacuum it cause she sheds. But that’s the price of having a dog. Will see how it holds it shape after this month trips.

I bought it for a shy cat that is just learning to live inside and wants to hide. She had been living under a small table that had to be moved, so I bought this bed thinking it would be a good replacement.The bed is well made and attractive.However, I have 5 cats and so far none of them will go in it voluntarily, including the shy cat. I even tried sprinkling some catnip inside and still a no go. For now, it is sitting in a corner being unused.

My small dog loves this bed. He gets cold easily and this allows him to curl up into some extra warmth (we use it with the top up so it's more like a bed cave). It's cute and soft. My only complaint is that when I first opened it, it had a very strong chemical smell. I didn't want to wash it because it felt like it had a foam interior and I was afraid I'd ruin it, so I aired it out for a few days before I would let my dog use it.

The top kind of flops down and makes it a bit hard for my 12 pound dog to get into. However, he likes it and uses it. I had to take out the removable cushion in the bottom because it too posed a problem getting into the bed. I put it on the floor in my office and the dogs take turns laying on it. I have not tried washing it yet.

This was shoved into a bag and bound with plastic wrap and tape. Two days out and still looks the same way. My cat won’t come near it because it smells bad.

My cat live it. First day wws just passing aroubd than when was a bit cold jumped inside and wws sitting there about for few hours. Looks like his personal shelf ones in a while cat showing his legs and stretching but in general all great plus if you need you can wash it in laundry without any issue.
