Perfect for tight, defined curls!
I’m so impressed with this 1/4-inch thin curling iron from Red by Kiss! It heats up quickly and gives me beautifully tight, defined curls that last all day. The slim barrel is perfect for creating spiral curls, touch-ups, or adding volume and texture. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and the temperature stays consistent, which makes styling fast and hassle-free. For such a small iron, it delivers big results! If you love precise curls or need a tool for detailed styling, this curling iron is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

Perfect for the Top of My Son's Hair
My son has short hair on the sides but longer hair on top. I use this to make curls for him in the front and it works really well for that! I have never seen a curling iron this skinny. There are not may 1/4" curling iron options out there, so I settled on this one. Yes, the cord sucks and sometimes the tip is VERY hot, but it gets the job done for my kid's few pieces of hair that I curl. I have very long hair and tried it on a strand of mine. I couldn't believe how short my hair got and how coiled it was! The one thing I really do NOT like is how there is a 'high' setting and a 'low' setting. You do not know what the actual temperature is and that is why I knocked off one star.

Not worth the money
Let me start off by saying the good. It heats up good, it's sleek, and it looks good. The bad.. the cord. The cord is the whole reason it has a number one. Every turn of your wrist to curl your hair the cord turns around and around and around and before you can complete one curl you have to take your hair out midstream unwind the cord because the little turn thing at the bottom is made so cheaply it does not adequately allow the cord to spend. It's very cheaply made but it does the job. My hair is very thin I don't have the texture in my hair to grip the iron. So the little clip does not hold well for my hair. It slides right through the clip. But it heats up nice. I returned mine because of the court issue. Before I could even curl a quarter of my hair I was mad. As for the quality it's cheap. Have a blessed day

Looks good/ Functionality not so great
The iron is the correct size and looks exactly as pictured on the box; however, the functionality of the power cord keeps wrapping around the wand when in use. It doesn’t matter how often I straighten the cord, it continues to wrap around my hand making it difficult to use the iron.

Must have for small curls
Absolutely love it. I'd never heard of RED and the price point had me worried this was a super cheap import. I've been using this for several months. Heats up fast and maintains temperature. Works really well for creating small, perm like, curls.

Curls are nice but that's about it
It it not very ergonomic. The cord tends to wrap around the handle as your turning the iron. Very frustrating. The clamp doesn't hold your hair tight enough so once you slide to the ends, your hair slips out of it's hold. The curls are nice and tight which is nice but not so easy getting there.
