Rooted cuttings
Very happy with purchase, they arrived lovingly wrapped in a damp paper towel as 12 inch rooted cuttings I ordered 24 didn't count but feel sure I received extras thank you , they already have leaves sprouting 2 inches , I've potted a few already I am hoping I can establish a quick fast growing privacy line with these hardy willows , instructions were included , very easy to read and understand , my only concern is I am wondering if they tolerate my soil where I need to plant them as it's somewhat dry ? I'll water as often as possible hoping they will thrive A+ Decided to plant in pots until well established UPDATE planted in individial pots after roots developed and leaves spouted , weve had so much rain , unsure if over watered ? , only a couple now still have leaves The rest look dead Maybe my climate in NC isn't well tolerated by the willows ?

Not fast growing
Half did not root even soaking in water, 3/4 of those that rooted and could be planted, died after planting. Very disappointing for the cost and effort to only have three plantings that MIGHT grow

Maybe?
I am certainly nowhere near a gardener or farmer. I have never had the interest. I have planted a few seeds here and there and depending on how temperamental Mother Nature might have felt, either the flowers made it, or sadly, they remained forever in the ground, the seeds not ever flourishing. Twenty five cents down the drain for those poor things. These babies weren't seeds and I was weary about purchasing them. I wanted them for the sole purpose of nosy neighbors on the side to me, and I don't have the convenience of a fence. Besides that, I think trees look more natural , but again, I hesitated. Not because of the cost, or the brand, but because of my own capabilities of nourishing them to growth and health. I obviously lack the talent. But, so far so good, I assume. I left them in a cup of water for about five days, as suggested, changing to fresh water every day, and they started to grow a little. I then decided to go ahead and plant them, deciding that they needed the full benefit of the sunlight. I was sent twenty eight plants, which was pleasantly surprising. Plants and flowers have lives and they rely on us as humans to take care of them to an extent, just like animals. So in this area of Cincinnati, the rain is give or take. So it has been my task to make sure that these Willows have been watered and nourished every day. Not because I would want to lose out on the money I paid for them if they don't thrive, but because in a sense they are dependable on myself at this moment to get them through the first vulnerable months of their lives. We will see. I personally don't have high hopes, but, again, I have been surprised before. I might update this review in one year. Great product. Was shipped fast, wrapped lovingly in a moist paper towel, and from then on, it's on the buyers shoulders to take care of them.

Growing
Easy to plant and fun to watch. Am hopeful it closes out pesky neighbors and grows quickly as claimed.

Rotting cuttings
The cuttings arrived in extremely poor condition. They were wrapped in paper towels that were completely saturated and dripping water. As a result the roots and leaf shoots already on the cuttings had rotted. And despite being soaking wet, the cuttings also had very 'dry' looking color. I'm guessing they must have been cut quite some time before shipment.I cleaned up the cuttings as best I could and followed standard practice for willow. A couple of the sticks did develop one or two new leaf buds at first, but they were very slow growing and never became large enough to really develop leaves. The stems eventually withered to useless sticks. While there's always a bit of chance involved with growing plants, I definitely feel like the poor condition these cuttings arrived in is ultimately what killed them. I had planned to buy more if these were decent but now I definitely won't. Get your cuttings elsewhere.

Pleasant surprise!! Immediate growth
I wanted to create a natural "privacy fence" for our new pool. After reading about these hybrid willow trees, I decided to give it a try, $24 for 24 trees, how could I go wrong! They arrived May 23rd, rolled up like pencils, and a moist paper towel. 6 extras, thanks! I took a shovel made one simple dig, angle it out, and drop in the "tree". I followed the recommendations and added some grass cuttings as mulch around them. The extra 6, I put in ziplic baggies and made a greenhouse, so now i have extras for the 2 (out of 30) that didnt sprout.Within 24 hours, I could see buds starting to emerge!! 2 weeks out, and the pictures show the growth. I'm thrilled, and hoping for the ads suggestion that they can grow up to 6 feet each year. Hopefully we will have a natural, beautiful privacy fence of trees soon.Excellent product, thank you for the attention to detail, prompt shipping, extra stems, and accurate description!!I'm thrilled to make this recommendation, and hope everyone has equally as promising results.

1 out of 50
Unfortunately these did not do well for me. I purchased 25. The package came with a few extras. I planted six outside. The next day they were gone. I planted 12 more in individual containers and kept them on my front porch. I tended to them daily. They died. The others never reached the stage where they could be planted. The seller sent another 25. Only one is still barely alive and about three inches tall after ten months. I thought they would do well here since I planted a willow tree ten years ago and it is magnificent. I invested a lot of time tending to them. I’m so disappointed that they didn’t grow well for me. Seller was great. Product wasn’t a great value for the money, but that could be just where I live isn’t a good climate.

Very easy !I recommend this kind of privacy trees .Can’t wait to watch them grow into big privacy trees , then my nosey neighbor can’t stare at us any more ! 😂
