**Holts Headlight Restoration Kit Review**
I recently used the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit, and I am thoroughly impressed with the results. This product truly lives up to its claims and delivers exactly what it promises.**Effectiveness**: My car's headlights were cloudy and yellowed, significantly reducing visibility at night. After using the Holts kit, they look almost brand new.The clarity and brightness have been restored, which has improved not only the appearance of my car but also my driving safety.**Ease of Use**: The instructions included in the kit are clear and easy to follow. As someone with little experience in car maintenance, I found the process straightforward and manageable. The kit includes everything needed, and within an hour, my headlights were transformed.**Value for Money**: This kit offers excellent value for money. Considering the cost of replacing headlights or having them professionally restored, the Holts kit is a budget-friendly solution that doesn’t compromise on quality.Overall, the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit is an outstanding product. It’s effective, easy to use, and provides long-lasting results at a fraction of the cost of other solutions. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to restore their headlights.

Headlight polishing kit
Did a great job the headlights look great - with a few of cavities.1. The mounting pad is hard, in really doesn't have enough flex to go round curves.2. The abrasive pads are just adequate for 1 headlight each. So the kit is something of one shot despite the size of the polishing cream and spray, it's not very well thought through.3. The cloth is just wierd it doesn't like water, presumably it has a coating because its new, not much use on a water based polishing cream.

Holts Headlight Restoration Kit - Good Results, but Not Long-Lasting
I recently tried the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit, and while it delivered decent results, I have some mixed feelings about its longevity.Pros:Effective Cleaning: The kit worked well to clear up my foggy headlights. After using it, they looked noticeably brighter and clearer, which improved my night driving visibility.Easy to Use: The instructions were straightforward, and the included materials made the process pretty simple, even for a DIY novice like me.Cons:Durability Issues: Unfortunately, the restored clarity didn’t last as long as I hoped. After just a few months, I noticed some fogging starting to return, which is disappointing.Limited Protection: While it does a great job initially, I wish the kit offered better long-term protection against UV damage and environmental factors.Overall, the Holts Headlight Restoration Kit provides good results for a temporary fix. If you're looking for a quick solution, it’s worth considering, but be prepared to repeat the process sooner than you might like.

My headlamps were blind – now they see!
To begin with, having never tried this before, I was worried I might be making my headlamp lens covers *worse*. The drill attachment was skipping all over the place however firmly I held the drill and it was not as easy as the videos in preparation seemed! However, you are aiming for a uniform “cloudiness” gradually reducing each step as the abrasive used gets finer. It was not until the final sanding disk grade (3000) that I began to think it was looking a bit more promising. The polish applied with the rotary sponge further improves things and then the final sealant coat when polished with the soft micro-fibre cloth provided brings a nice shine to the finish. The abrasive disks could be better marked. They are stamped out of larger sheets so the grade marking is not always visible. Unlikely that none of the disks have a visible grade marking so it is possible to pair up the disks in their respective grades – each grade looks slightly different and there are two of each.As mentioned, the drill disk pad holder did not work well for me. My headlamp lens covers are highly convex and the pad kept skipping across the surface however firmly or gently I held the drill. I was worried about badly marking the surface so I cupped the abrasive disks in the palm of my hand and keeping everything very wet just gently rubbed the pad over the area in a circular motion. This took a bit longer probably but it seemed a less risky approach and worked out quite well. Ideally there would be an interface pad provided in the kit so that the abrasive disks can be mounted on a softer backing when using a drill for convex surfaces. If I was doing this again I’d probably get a thick sponge 75mm interface pad to place between the disk pad holder and the abrasive disk.I think it is very important to use something like a plant spray bottle to keep the sanding area thoroughly wet during sanding.I probably spent about 40 minutes on each headlamp. I’m pleased with the results. With practise I think a better finish is probably possible but I think the final finish was plenty good enough. There seemed to be very adequate quantities of sealant and polish provided - plenty of product left after use.For £13.99 avoiding an MoT failure was well worth it to me.

Brilliant!
I think my image says it all really! Left is cleaned with the kit, right headlight is yet to be done. Such a difference! All you need is a regular drill, tape and some water. Took me about 1.5 hours to do both lights. I did it as a female on my own with not a clue about cars or even the drill to be honest! Very easy and I have so much stuff left, I'm going to do my partners lights and probably still only have used 1/3 to 1/2 the polish and spray. Can't believe I thought it might just be easier to replace my lights!
