TFANeo Start' Wireless Thermometer and Hygrometer

I give this product 5 stars because it does efficiently everything it is supposed to do - there is no reason to give it anything else! The temperature readings seem to be reasonaby acurate though I can't vouch for the accuracy of the humidity readings - you would need a wet-and-dry bulb thermometer to measure those accurately. It is compact and smart-looking and the numbers are prominent and easy to see. The one thing I personally was disappointed in was that although it gives maximum and minimum temperatures, it does not give the times of these, but I shouldn't think most people would want those anyway. I would certainly recommend this item to the general householder, but not to a professional meteorologist!

This product does not come with batteries, as stated on the website. Box clearly states that batteries are not included.First one sent out - dissapointed due to lack on batteries, even after I checked that some would be included. Emailed Amazon who promtly sent out replacement with statement that packer would be instructed to check for batteries. Obviously not!I printed off return labels for second item sent and chose to use Royal Mail. When I followed emailed link to print off label for original I have to use the drop off service, so I have too make two journeys to be able to return both items.Very dissappointed!

Just what I was looking for.Needs 4 AAA Batteries which are not included.The sensor which you fix on the outside also shows the outside humidity and temperature.The clip to fasten the sensor in, can either be screwed on a wall or a ceiling as the sensor clips on, either on its back or on its top (hanging down).Hold in the max/min button for a few seconds to reset the temp to what it is currently.
