Instax Mini EVO Instant Camera - Brown

This camera is a total game changer. OTHER INSTAX MODELS: I’ve owned several Fujifilm instant cameras before, including the Instax Mini 8 and the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic, and they’ve always delivered great quality. The issue with those older models (which you can still buy) is that sometimes the pictures don’t turn out great, and you end up wasting a lot of film while learning because every picture you take gets printed right away. THIS MODEL: The real highlight with this model is that you can take digital photos without having to print them right away, while still getting that vintage feel. As a digital photographer, I enjoy experimenting with analog photography, but I don’t want to invest too much money in the process. This camera offers the perfect blend of a film camera experience without the cost or hassle of buying and developing film (which is hard to find and expensive where I live). Plus, you still have the option to print the shots you love. I also love that this new model charges via USB cable, unlike the older ones that required batteries. Additionally, you can connect your phone and print pictures directly from it. This is by far the best Instax I’ve owned. Highly recommend — great quality, and a design that beautifully mimics classic film cameras.

It has a lovely classic design, and several features that lets you compose different type of photos. A big advantage this camera has is that because it has memory and is digital, you can take shots and practice your shoots without worrying about running out of Instax film (and money). I love that you can use the instax mini app to print photos from your phone in mini instax film, it has been very handy. You can also customize your prints a bit and change the colors the zoom in/out so that it prints just like you want. A "downside" of being digital is that the photos are really good, which takes away some of the "rustic feel" that regular instax cameras have. This camera has a filter that imitates that feel a little bit, but it's not a perfect copy. This can be an upside if you want great and clear instax photos, or a downside if the experience you want is those rough colors from regular instax cameras. I recommend this product a lot though, it was praised nonstop by models and photographers when I took it to an event earlier this year. I think the price is an investment for the quality, features, convenience, and not spending money on film when practicing your shoots. 10/10

I’ve been constantly using the wireless printing function, printing lots of photos from my phone. I absolutely love this camera, it takes quality photos and I love the extra functionality thst comes with it!

I wanted a decent camera to take with me to to Europe and this did not disappoint. I used to be into photography so I have some experience with cameras. I have my phone but I wanted to actually print and enjoy the photos. I also wanted to try to stay off my phone and enjoy the art of being intentional. This has great filter and color options to play with. One that I was super excited about was the monochrome. The biggest plus? It's like a normal digital camera so you can take the shot and print it later. I know I talked about intentional but this helped a lot for on the go and only doing only one or two. There isnt a view finder so you have to use the screen which I was actually fine with. Fair warning though, you can't add the filters later so take your time and play with them. I really appreciated the ability to change the lighting and exposure, it helped a lot when in super sunny places that blow out the exposure. The mega pixels is the same as Snapchat at I think 4mp so it's not the highest quality shot. But honestly it looked fine when printed on a small film. The colors, print quality, and detail are all fairly good. It's a gigantic step up (in price and quality) to the Instax Mini 41. Which is basically a bloated version of the original Mini. I do recommend buying a micro SD card for it I think it only holds 60 pictures. The biggest drawback? You cant send your pictures to your phone unless you print them. There I a workaround but I won't go into that here. A really big plus? You can connect to your phone and print pictures from your phone. There is an argument to just buy a photo printer but honestly I really enjoyed using a camera again. It was fun, easy to use and settings to make sure your pictures turn out correct. The pictures included are ones with filters. You can take some pretty great shots.

This is my second EVO mini. I lost the first one. Just couldn’t live without one! I got the brown this time. Very handsome. The thing about this hybrid is that, despite all the silly features, it’s just fun. I’d rather have more traditional photographic control, but this camera, and its app, are just such a great system. At around a buck per print, giving away snaps to people is a small gesture, but it always brings a smile to their face. Ttartisan is coming out with a retro Instax from what I hear, but I’m unsure if it’ll be a hybrid. The nice thing about the hybrid is that young people can just take a dozen pictures, then print their favorites. No waste. As digital images, of course, the results are mediocre. But they have vibe and character, and the ability to print any image from your phone is awesome. I often print my favorite images from my professional gear this way, just to see it at that scale. I absolutely adore this camera, and take it everywhere. It’s more than worth the money. It’s pure fun. Especially for families, but I think even professional photographers should seriously consider this or the EVO Wide. It adds an accessible, joyful moment to interactions with people when you’re out shooting. Pro tip: if you don’t want a case, get a screen protector, a lens cap and the pgytech cellphone sling. You can carry it around all day comfortably and it’s faster than pulling it out of a case.

Veio tudo perfeitamente normal, pelo que pude perceber até o momento. A câmera veio bem embalada, sem nenhuma ranhura ou defeito aparente. Vem descarregada, então não deu para usar, mas liguei, troquei o idioma, mexi um pouco, verifiquei a tampa de colocar o filme, tudo ok. O manual vem em japonês e inglês apenas, mas tudo bem, é intuitivo.

The camera is perfect and enjoyable, however after 8 months it stopped reading the film!! I tried many times installing new film and the camera keeps telling me that there is no film or the film is empty. I was taking very well care off it never fall on the ground. I have been trying to find a way to contact seller for return or fix or get a replacement for the camera but couldn’t find a contact. Very disappointing!

This is so vintage looking design that already look good for display. But being used as an actual camera is awesome. The app and software should be better as they only allow you to transfer bluetooth to phone after you printed the photo.
