HanesEssentials Drawstring, Cotton Women, Adjustable Shorts

I’m trying to wear less plastic, and these shorts fit the bill. They were flattering — much more so than I expected, and exactly what I wanted, with a higher rise and comfortable inseam without being frumpy. I’m in my 50s but still appreciate style — at this price you can’t beat a nontoxic pair of athletic shorts. Wish more companies would use natural fibers.

These are great I haven’t had lounge shorts in a few years, but with the excessive heat so far this summer, I needed something that fit, are comfortable and is affordable. These fill these requirements. The fabric isn’t super soft, but is normal t-shirt fabric of this brand. I’m fluffy and got the XXL which I feel is true to size.

Love that they are cotton. They run a little big - I wear between medium and large in shorts and I had to return the large and get a medium instead. They’re a little boxy but they work. Not too thin, not too thick. Not sure I would buy lots of them but I do wear them consistently because they’re all cotton.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My daughter needed some comfy shorts to wear around the house. I picked these for price and inseam. It’s so hard to find shorts that don’t show butt cheeks. My daughter is 12 and we don’t need that. We ordered a small and it fits well, not too tight and perfect for lounging. Has a drawstring to help them stay up if needed. Also has pockets!

Wife Would have loved these if they were longer. They are super short. Gave to adult daughter. They were comfortable if just hanging around the house. Would have been perfect otherwise.

I love these shorts but the grey shorts are NOT 100% cotton as listed. I purchased the navy ones earlier, which are 100% cotton, and I love them so I decided to buy the grey ones. I will be returning the grey shorts and purchasing another pair in black.The fabric is lightweight and I love that there are pockets. I wear them as PJs as many traditional PJ bottoms don’t have pockets.I highly recommend these shorts for lounging in but if you’d are looking for 100% cotton, don’t go with grey.

The gray ones are 90 percent cotton 10 percent polyester, not 100 percent cotton like it says.
