I was looking for something for my new special edition switch that would be easy to apply & cover the console well. This is it! Not only does it look great with the special edition but it's very easy to get on as well as use the kick stand. The case just has 2 little tabs that click into place after you're done using the kickstand, it works great! The 4 way button area is nice as well. On my previous switch, the case I have on that has no gap between the buttons making them harder to push at times (or the correct one), this case is really nice with the gap as your finger can naturally move about uninterrupted. I highly recommend this one! In fact, if I were keeping my old console I would purchase one for it (if it fit), that's how much I like it. Also the flat surface on the back of the joy cons is nice & I have not noticed a huge negative difference from the ones that have the bumps or grips in the back as others have.

Overall the case is really cute and the TOU covers for the joy con fit snugly and securely, so they’re protected well enough. The cover for the back of the switch is a little flimsy mostly because of the part of the back that swings open for the kickstand. Because of how thin some of the parts are, it fits kind of loosely so you need to be REALLY careful not to pick the switch too freely or the cover can slide right off and you be left with a case in your hand and switch on the floor. Overall, though it’s better than a naked console and the simple gold sparkle adds a little extra something. If you’re looking for hardcore protection against drops and scrapes, this is probably not for you!

I ordered the gold one to go with my new Zelda OLED switch and it compliments the colors perfectly. I did read reviews saying to put it on from the bottom first and that helped as it was very flimsy the first time. Definitely make sure to put the bottom part on first so that everything clicks into place.

It’s weirdly hard to find a cute minimalistic case for the switch anywhere. After tons of searching around different sites I settled on this. Happy I did - it’s cute and fits well. Wish it was a bit more protective though you can definitely tell it’s not top quality material

This seemed very flimsy until I got it clicked on where it goes. I wouldn’t trust it to take much impact, but it will do the job if you are guarding scratches. I got this to go over a skin that I wanted to stay well and last longer and I believe this is going to do exactly what I wanted without being very bulky. The joy con covers are rubbery and feel like they will last well. The body is plastic and feels like it could break easily if not careful when putting it on. This is going to do exactly what I wanted though I’d like if it were a little sturdier feeling.
