I've not tried anything like this before, but wanted it to hold items securely in a case where they moved a littler.Although not quite as easy to use as described, After the first attempt, I found I was getting better. My recommendation is that you cut shallow so that you can remove one layer at a time, I found that the easiest.As to the quality of the item, very nice!! I was surprised to find that, using a black felt tip showed up well on the black finish so it was easy to follow the layout and make the cut exact. I agree with the notes sent with the item that the user should mark as close to the item's outline as possible. In fact, I would go one better and found it easier to cut slightly too small and enlarge, than to try and get it exact first time.All in all, a good experience. Would I buy from Toolovation again? Yes I can see me using more of this in the future.

This is my second tray. Which should say it all. Really easy to cut out if you have a decent blade. I bought a scalpel for the cutting and a fine tip marker for tracing the outline. Surprised how easy it is. Just go slow and peel the layers at a time checking your tool. I work in aviation and shadow boarding is a must. This is the most cost effective option I have found.
