Good range.
I had a bit of a rat infestation in the garden. I converted a fairly large trap to be solenoid operated by a press button. Rats are pretty clever and when it was operated by physical contact, they knew that the touch panel would spring the trap and I could watch them going in and out stealing the bait without firing the trap. So new lan, 12 volt solenoid holding the trip wire connected to the remote switch and I could let them get used to popping in and out. From my window I watched them and my first catch, I waited until 3 fat buggers were in. One press and I had three in on go. I took the cage with all three out into the countryside miles from habitation and released them live. Two days later the remaining two had got used the trap and I waited and got those two as well. Let them go where I let the others out. So, I'm rat free but as I live by a river, there will be more and my trap is now a proven device. By the way, they are animals and they deserve a life so I don't feel a need to kill them. I just don't want them in my garden.

Perfect remote control
The media could not be loaded. Fitted this to operate my 12v camper spot lights remotely 👍🏽

works, but glitches
I bought this unit cos my old [green button] garage open works fine, but its seems impossible to buy replacement remotes for it any more. The ones I have bought (3 different brands & models) all have the same fault - they work fine, but have a range of about 2 or 3 inches from the back of the motor - so much less useful when the door is closed. This was really easy to wire up, connecting it to the manual opener terminals on the back of the motor, and it works great with decent range and a nice solid feel to the remotes. However, it "glitches" every so often and will just open the garage door when I have not pressed the button. Obv I can't leave it doing that all night, so I've had no choice but to disconnect it.It's possible the problem is the power supply. It does NOT come with a power supply, so I used one I had lying about, so it's possible it doesn't like my power supply or that the power supply is glitching the circuit on the unit - I will have to try it again with something like a battery pack that will def not glitch and see if that works, but for now its disconnected & no use.

Works Well
Works well to turn on additional lights on car. An older review stated no batteries supplied for key fobs, this is incorrect

Works great..
I was surprised by how well this product works. I'm using it to operate a battery powered light in the garden so I can see where the dog is when he goes out!The light is on the other side of a 10 inch thick wall and I operate the remote from within the house, through a double glazed window and about 7 metres away from the receiver in the light unit and it works great.Only downside is one of the remotes does not work, but I think it may just need a new battery.

Beware of Missing Battery for Fobs
The DieseRC 433MHz Wireless Remote Control Switch works as expected, but there's a major issue: the fobs require a battery that isn't provided, and it’s not a standard off-the-shelf type. This makes it a hassle to get up and running, as you’ll need to track down a specific battery before use. It’s a convenient product, but this oversight is a real inconvenience.
