This lamp is very nice, works just fine, and is great for reading. I purchased others where the goose neck was way too long and the lamp was too heavy and way too bright. One of them was so bright, I had to turn it towards the ceiling, then I couldn't see to read. This one lets you adjust the width of the light beam solving the issue. It's a hard task to get the strength of the clamp, length of the goose neck, and weight of the lamp correct. You may have to hold the clamp to adjust the goose neck for moving the lamp more than a few inches. I assure you that the clamp is really strong. The control unit works as described. It is a good lamp, and I cannot understand why some people complained about what I just described.

Perfect lamp for attaching to the bedpost. The lamp is adjustable and can be shaped to suit your needs. It is really bright and makes reading while in bed easy. The cord seems to be plenty long to reach a plug. The light color can be adjusted and the lens allows the light to be focused to suit your needs.

Update * Light is good, made of metal, not plastic. plenty long gooseneck. almost too stiff clamp thou, ( takes STRONG hand strength to open clamp, kids or elderly may not be able to work clamp!)Head is about 3", which is fine, it has 3 different light temp. colors. (warm, cool white , yellow light).It does have your choice of brightness levels, of 1-10pretty bright, & I like the temp. colors selection.So, if you're doing work & need more light to see, this light is bright enough, zoomable, reasonably priced & overall built pretty solid.I ordered two clamp lights from different sellers.This one & another brand non-zoomable, 5 brightness levels.The verdict is, I'm keeping this one & ordering another one just like it. I'm returning the Glocusent brand, cheaper & made cheap! also not very bright. I originally got the two brands mixed up, this is the decent one.

Love this lamp, use it in the RV when my husband turns the lights off to watch tv. I like all the options for the light beam.

It isn't expensive and can clip it anywhere.I bought it for reading in bed or as a night light. Three different colors, USB, bright to dim and narrow to wide beam.Definitely worth it.

Love this lamp! It clamps securely onto the back of my bed without any damage thanks to the soft padding inside the clamp. It's neck is easily bendable and lights up my entire book...both pages. It has adjustable lighting but I just use the brightest setting. I extend it while I am reading and bend it out of the way when I lie down to go to sleep. It needs to be plugged in so hopefully your bed is by an outlet. The cord has the on/off switch built into it.Exactly what I was looking for and very happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Great product, loved the adjustability of the light in both brightness and color. Is super easy to use and ticked every box I needed it to. So why only 3 stars? We had a power outage and when the power came back on the light wouldn't turn off. Pressing the power button makes it go to full intensity and color, press it again and it goes to the dullest white option and the lowest brightness, but does not go off. No idea how long this light would have worked normally, I had very high hopes, but now it's half way to trash. Can obviously still be used by unplugging and plugging back in (so it's completely off when not being used), which is a hassle but doable.
