Works well in a small space.
This tiny wall hung heater really puts out the heat. Had to get the foil reflector for the wall behind it, because the wall was getting most of the heat, initially.

I love these...
Yes they have off gassing the first couple days. Yes they take a few hours to fully heat a space. But...YES they are LOW wattage and a great supplement. I use oil to heat my home. It costs $2k per year if used alone. I added these..size appropriate to almost every room (5 rooms- 2- 600w, 2- 400w and a 250w). I now spend $500-600 in oil and only an extra $60 a month electric. Traditional space heaters were running $150/mo extra. I never worry about overheating my fuses since they are only about 4-5amps each. I end up saving$1200-$1300 per year on heating costs. I only wish I could have found heat guards for the 600w model. I have them on the 400w.

Just an awful product - don’t waste your money!!
I bought this heater for my powder room in early 2024. After a short period of operation in my garage to drive off foul vapors which had been reported by other customers, I installed the heater in the powder room. The outlet is controlled by a thermostat which was set to 55F so the heater does not operate continuously. Within a a few days it had multiple cracks and brown scorch marks. It just did not look safe to operate.Giving the benefit of the doubt I requested a replacement from Amazon and returned the original unit. Within a week hairline cracks had developed. The unit sat idle from late winter through early autumn (it is only need during the coldest weather). Since late November the heater has been used intermittently; the hairline cracks have developed into gaping fissures and there are brown scorch marks which likely match with the encased heating element routing. I do not operate this heater when I am asleep or away from home…it is just too risky. I shall be replacing with a similar low profile wall mounted heater as soon as possible. I would give this NO stars if I could.

Low profile, effective, but it does smell randomly
I put this into a little powder room and it keeps it toasty. I painted it to match the walls and it looks nice. Mounting hardware was decent -- one screw would not go in straight and looks wonky. In the beginning the room would randomly smell but after accidentally leaving it going full blast while on vacation, that seems to have burned off whatever it was.Gets very hot to the touch. It claims it won't burn your skin but I really don't understand how that works. There are cheaper space heaters, but I really like this one because it fits next to the sink and blends in with the wall and isn't ugly.

Game changer
I bought one of these with outlet thermostats for each room in my small home on the Central Coast of California two years ago. They saved me from having to consider a whole house forced air option with a price tag of $20k. The size and efficiency is what was most appealing initially, but their efficacy has been game changing for individual room heating and whole-house comfort. I have one particularly cold bedroom, so having a larger one in there with a thermostat is amazing. It’s a guest room, so I can close that bedroom door when not in use. I use a larger one to heat the living room and kitchen. While the house does have 3” of rigid insulation in the roof, that improvement plus these heaters get me comfortably through the coldest part of the winter. I should mention it was built in 1934. Our temps only sometimes get down to freezing. That said, I just last night brought the largest heating panel into my 650sqft guest house with vaulted ceilings to see if it could keep up. It also has 3” of rigid insulation in the roof. Outside temps got down to 45, but the inside held at 65 with just one large panel. I’m impressed! Some people have mentioned the wall temp being affected, and I agree. It gets warm, but it’s been harmless. The panel gets warm but you can touch it. I haven’t hung these but simply lean these against the wall with the metallic paper supplied behind it. The on/off switch in the back keeps it from touching the wall by about an inch.In short, I couldn’t be happier with these heaters. They have been game changers for my use.
