Works better than gray rubber cover
We have a rather large pop-up drain cover in the bathtub that can't be removed. I tried the rubber covers and they just molded. This not only fits and covers the knob, the mesh is flexible enough that you could expand it a little bit if needed. I think I ordered the 4 inch one. It is heavy enough that it doesn't move around with the water from the faucet coming down since we aren't inverting it in to the drain, I was worried it wouldn't work but It does a great job keeping both long hair and shaved hair from going down the drain. I wish I bought this a long time ago.

Metal - nice design
Bought a different brand before but the plastic didn't hold up to the sink cleaners, eventually cracking and eroding, plus they dammed up the water from completely draining due to the higher profile of the edge. These fit nicely, are a sturdy metal with finer holes than my previous ones and allows for better drainage. Easy to dump out the debris. Should hold up.

Functional
These are functional, but not as good as those I purchased at the local merchant, who is sadly now closed. These have a larger screen and the size is a bit smaller.

No longer worry about dropping things down the drain.
Exactly what I needed. A simple metal mesh that fits in the drain and let water run through. I inadvertently dropped too many small things down the open bathroom sink drain. A small dropper bottle even fell in once and disappeared. Of course it also catches hair. Very reasonable price. Two were included.

Pure Garbage - Don't Waste Your Money
These drain baskets arrived crushed and bent out of shape. They are so flimsy that I easily bent them back into shape. I placed them in the tub but hair just washed under the basket and went down the drain. Also the mesh is so wide that hair can pass through that too. I think that this is the kind of product that you need to get at your local hardware store so you can ensure that it is not junk.
