Great backpack for light travelling
Loved this backpack so far.I travel a lot domestically and have used Swiss gear bags always. Even tough I love swiss gear I experienced that it was heavy and not very easy for shoulders during airport transition, hence i decided to try this one. This backpacks zippers, handles and fabric is sturdy. The bottle holder is of good size and holds big bottle easily. It has only one main compartment but its spacious, I was able to fit 14 inch laptop, 16 inch portable screen, document binder and many small utility items like specs, shades, charger packs etc. When I put same stuff in this bag and carry it on shoulder somehow it goes easy on my shoulder and I don't feel like i am carrying huge weight. This size also makes it fit easily under flight seat.So would not hesitate to recommend this one to others.

THE NORTH FACE Vault Everyday Laptop Backpack - Great Backpack
Disclosure, I am a fan of the North Face brand, and I have a backpack that has been with me for over a decade, and I try every time to replace with a different model. Since the previous one is black, and the next one is black, I decided to try a different color this time.Bottom line - this backpack combines style, comfort, and practicality. Highly recommended!Design - The camo texture print and taupe green color give it a sleek, modern look suitable for both casual and professional settings.Comfort - The FlexVent suspension system with custom shoulder straps and a padded mesh back panel offers exceptional comfort, even when fully loaded.Functionality - It’s well-organized with a spacious main compartment, a padded 15" laptop sleeve, and multiple pockets in the front compartment for easy organization.Durability - The water-repellent finish keeps belongings dry, and the backpack stands unsupported, adding convenience.Additional Features - Two water bottle pockets, a daisy chain for lash points, and a sternum strap for extra support make it practical and comfortable for extended use.Highly Recommended

Worth the price and hype
Great backpack, always worth the price to get a bag that will last a full school year and possibly another. Holds all the things and north face is always on trend!

Heavy backpack but decent for school
I'm a bit biased when it comes to North Face products because I've been using their brand for many years. So, last year I decided to get the North Face Vault backpack for my son in middle school. He liked that it was black and that it had sturdy straps. I'm going to point out the pros and cons:Pros: very sturdy and can put 1 Chromebook (has it's own pocket for laptops/chromebooks), 3 books, and about 3-5 folders/notebooks. Yes, that's a lot for a middle school, but we tested the backpack out putting in as much stuff as possible when we first got it. There are 2 front pockets. One is larger than the other. My son put his pens/pencils, etc. in the smaller pocket. The bigger pocket had his earbud case, calculator, and other small items for his classes. There are 2 side pockets for water bottles. The zippers are easy to grasp all around with 2 separate zipper pulls. The straps are thick and there is a strap you can tie around your waist area for more security and support.Cons: the mesh-style water bottle holders aren't very well sewn. One of them broke after a month. Granted, you are going to constantly take out and put back your water bottles so I thought the holders should have held up for at least one school year, right? The backpack itself is pretty heavy with nothing in it. So, be prepared to carry a very heavy backpack if your child's school doesn't have lockers for them to put their stuff in and they have to carry their books and laptops all day.Overall, this backpack held up well enough for about one year and a half. I did notice some of the seams on the front pockets become looser but that could just be a user issue. The ripped water bottle holders on the side being ripped so easily could have been made with higher quality material or stitching.I think it's a nice looking backpack. It's not flashy and it has a small North Face logo.

Quality Backpack, stylish and spacious.
My daughter loves this backpack! It's not just stylish but also incredibly spacious. She can easily fit all her books, notebooks, and even her lunchbox inside with room to spare. The well-padded handles are a game-changer; they make it much easier for her to carry all her school essentials without feeling the weight of the load. The adjustable straps also ensure a comfortable fit, no matter how much she packs. I highly recommend this backpack for kids who need to carry a lot but want to do it comfortably and in style!

Good commuter's backpack
I am a commuter. I like this backpack. It seems made for hikers, so my mile hike to work after getting of the train is easier. It is lighter than the Swiss Army laptop backpack that I have, which is much appreciated. It has everything that I need and is sturdy enough for its purpose. I consider it a good value. Those with better backs than mine may find something cheaper that is adequate for them.
