The perfect notebook
I love this notebook! It has 411 pages, which is just the right size and will last a long time. It handles fountain pen ink really well and is a joy to use. I might even get a second one in the future. I highly recommend it!

Excellent in Every Way
The Leuchtturm 1917 in B5 is the perfect size for my studio journal. I like the size and the generous number of pages. I don't feel like a Sasquatch trying to write on a postage stamp, but like the delicate, though aged, flower that I am. The pagination and dedicated index helps me to use the bujo method to create collections and string my collections in the indices so that I can keep track of the location of entries without creating any wasted space. I also like that I can string across volumes over time. The dot matrix is clear enough to see while I'm working without being distracting. The paper is a good weight and takes the inks I use without bleeding for the most part. In combination with a DIY concertina sketchbook to hold limited palette studies I am very happy with this set up. This particular item is the hardcover B5 but I also have the soft cover versions, as well as the A5 version.

Perfect paper for XF and F fountain pens
I respect only two brands of notebooks: Rhodia and Leuchturm. :-) I love them - they are perfect for XF and F fountain pens.

perfect long-term pocket notebook
small amount of bleed through on fountain pen wiht carbon black ink, feels like thick paper but not overly so. perfect size, appreciate space for toc. seems strong enough for rougher use like bending, twisting etc

Probably the best notebook I ever had
Recently, I started writing again and I just wanted to keep a good notebook around to capture ideas and notes about projects I'm working on. I had a moleskine for that, which is nice but it wasn't quite working for me. I needed something a little bigger, and it was hard to keep track of things. If I took notes on one project, and then notes on others, then wanted to go back to the first one I'd have to dig around for it. With the page numbers and table of contents it makes it easy to jump from one project to another. Also this notebook feels better made and sturdier compared to a moleskine. I also like the paper quality. Some reviews said the paper is too thin, and I suppose it is depending on the pens you use (I tend to use Pilot g2's and occasionally a Pilot disposable fountain pen) and how hard you write. So I highly recommend this notebook if you're a writer, or need something fancy around.

Excellent binding will last in pocket for along time
This little notebook is oddly shaped, but if you can get past that you'll like it. My main concern is the shape being 3.5"x6". Its a great notebook dont get me wrong and i like it but that extra half an inch just annoys me. Being softbound it only has 123 pages i think and since its softbound the paper quality is worse than the hardcover. Still a very lovely notebook and worthy to be in my collection of notebooks, but that's just it it feels like a novelty purchase. It's still very usable and very sturdy. I like this notebook because it's fountain pen friendly to some degree, but other mediums, like the zebra mildliners bleed through. Use for your collection, but that's all i would use it for.

I’ve bought a number of leuchtturm as the pocket softcover is my usual go to easy travel notebook. The paper handles fountain pen ink in (EF,F,M,B) nibs well without bleed but with some ghosting from the low gsm of the paper. My main problem is the Inconsistent quality. I’ve found that on the dot grid versions I’ve run into misprint & cutting issues a fair number of times, and while the grid versions appear to be a bit better in QC in this respect in general it’s best to be wary when buying
