My son and I love exploring the many tiny things of this world. So fun! For kiddos and adults!
So fun! For kiddos and adults who are into being amazed by the micro! My son and I love exploring the many tiny things this world has, from leafs and the tiny intricacies, to the beauty of a crystal or jewel that sparkles, to looking a print on paper, and faces on old photos from times that were before. We love this little microscope. Its magnification was sharp, and adjustable. The price was nothing compared to the hours we spent together exploring a world of tiny. The light on this microscope was very helpful with seeing a the details. We have had this for over a year now and still it continues to work well, very sturdy and great quality.

Just buy it
This thing is actually really cool for the price! It’s way better than expected for what I needed it for which is to check the maturity of all our favorite medicinal flowers. Let me tell you first hand for the price you can not go wrong, it is a tad bit hard to get used to using the microscope but once you get the hang of it you can see things crystal clear! It came within 2 days which is awesome and works very well! It even came with 5 slides with different things on them from plant cells to some different bug parts. Overall I would recommend the only reason I give it 4 stars is for it being a little on the harder side to get to learn to successfully use it.

Very hard for me to hold steady and too blurry
I purchased this microscope because I have been obsessed with viewing all sorts of things with my boyfriends jewelers loupe, but that only goes up to 90% magnification, so I wanted something better.I gave this microscope 3 stars because I personally didnt find it very easy to use. I had to be able to keep the microscope steady while holding my eye all the way up to the viewer and constantly needing to adjust the focus dial at the same time. I wasn't able to take any time to be able to view anything for any length of time for that reason. even if I tried to put the thing I'm trying to view on a table and hold the microscope on top of it, my hands just aren't steady enough to keep it still so then every time the microscope moves, even just a tiny bit, I had to keep refocusing it, or else all I would see is blurriness.I wanted a microscope that I could hold on whatever I want to view and be able to stay in one spot long enough to look at any details from the object, but unfortunately I wasn't able to achieve that with this microscope.I believe that this microscope would work a whole lot better if you purchased a stand for it to be able to hold it in the same spot, but I ended up returning it and found a different microscope on Amazon for a little bit more money, $15, that works much better for me. It wouldve cost me more than $15 if I were to keep this microscope and then have to purchase a stand seperately, because I couldn't find any stands under $10 (I didn't look too hard though). This microscope may also be a good cheap one for kids just to be able to have a glimpse at how things look under the microscope, for educational value, if you don't want to pay a bunch more $ I guess.I hope you find the microscope that fits your needs, who knows, maybe this one will work better for you than it did for me, for the good price,it's always worth a try. 😊I did like how this microscope came with a nice case to store it in, a long with a bunch of interesting slides of bug parts, flowers, and leaves. but it just wasn't a good microscope for me.

Definitely works
The media could not be loaded. I love this little microscope. I got it to look at my plant leaves up close but it's not as easy as it seems but it is possible... outside is very difficult because it's so bright but you have to hold this very still to keep it on the area you want to see but it definitely zooms in and theres a zoom option and a focus twist area. Here is a piece of my hair that had a knot that was not visible to the naked eye... I recorded this with my phone so that's why it went in and out on the video. It's so fun to find things to zoom in on. I also zoomed in on my phone and pulled it back a tiny bit from the screen and you can see green and red pixels appear to be moving around but they aren't, it just seems like it.

Hard to focus
It’s hard to get this thing to focus and it is not the best for toddler. Definitely not easy to use.

Good for what it is!
Great for what it is! It is a cheaper, portable field microscope. Only has so much zoom, but what it does have is pretty good. I don't understand why people say it's hard to focus, it really isn't, it's quite easy to use. The slides are a nice way for you to understand how the magnification and focus knobs work best for you and what to expect to see.Best optics will come from a steady hand or stationary placement. You will lose the focus if you move it - it's not a stationary microscope, it won't work exactly like one. All of that being said, I am an adult who likes to see all the little things that make up all the big things, so the focusing was easy for me. Children will more than likely need help and some patience with a potential learning curve.Otherwise it's a great and compact way to see the smaller things out in the world!
