I saw people use this online and still didn't expect it to work as magically as it does! One dip and all of the makeup just comes out of my brushes. I wish it were cheaper, but with other brands you use like 5x the amount of product for a way less clean result. So ultimately it is worth it in my opinion.

I saw a video review on this & decided to try it. I like the lemon scent.I feel like I'm using more than anticipated, but I was able to buy a huge refill bottle, so that's fine. I do use the tin to clean brushes, but I don't necessarily feel like it adds much to the deal. I always sanitize it when I'm done & store it dry, so I haven't had any issues with the finish.Overall this does a great job cleaning makeup brushes and I'm happy with the results.The brushes do dry pretty quickly, so there is definitely an advantage to using this over a natural dishwashing liquid or shampoo if you don't want to wait for your brushes to dry out.

Recently, I started wearing makeup after a 5 year break. I had to replace the makeup, naturally. But was hoping to use my old brushes at least until I could replace them later. I purchased this to clean them, because, well, I'm lazy when it does come to cleaning my brushes. I had always washed them weekly with soap and water, but they were still obviously used and had some residue. Now, I went through the 2 oz bottle cleaning these old brushes. It was totally worth it though because the nicer quality ones look brand new. I love how easy the product is to use. There is a lemon smell, but I don't find it too strong. I have since purchased a larger bottle and the spray. I use the spray daily, and the liquid weekly.

Yes, it does clean brushes well and you don't have to wait for them to dry, but I noticed a very noticeable oily residue after use. Conflicted really as to whether not waiting for the brush to dry is worth the oiliness?
