After using the Philips CX 5535/11 tower fan for a few days, I’m genuinely impressed. The bladeless design feels modern and safe, especially with kids around. Setup was effortless, and the fan is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to move from one room to another. The airflow is powerful enough to cool a medium-sized room quickly. I found the Quiet Sleep mode especially useful at night—it’s barely audible and didn’t disturb my sleep. The touchscreen panel is sleek and very responsive, while the remote adds real convenience. I also appreciated the timer function, which helps avoid unnecessary power usage. Even during the day, it stays relatively quiet on medium settings. The oscillation function distributes air evenly without feeling too direct. It’s surprisingly energy-efficient and hasn’t caused any spike in my electricity usage. The aroma pad slot is a nice bonus—adds a subtle fragrance to the room. While it’s a bit pricier than regular fans, the features and quiet performance justify the cost. It blends perfectly with modern interiors and works well in both the bedroom and living area. Overall, it’s a solid upgrade for anyone seeking a silent, stylish cooling solution.

I wanted a tower fan for the summers. I use a Dreo one at my home, but since I couldn’t find it in India, I chose this Philips model. Pros - Decent build quality, that's it! Cons - It doesn’t serve the basic purpose of a fan. Does not produces enough airflow. My parents prefer using a small Bajaj table fan over this, which is 5times more effective than this. That’s how bad it is. Absolute RUBBISH. It’s now lying in a corner because nobody wants to use it. Worst part - Amazon India doesn’t allow returns if you don’t like the product. They sell such underperforming products but won’t take them back. Makes no sense. Absolutely disappointed. Rubbish product. Do not buy.

It is not noisy, has a swoosh sound at the highest. But its bit more bulkier and taller than i had imagined. The base has a large circle stand, which makes it impossible to keep in a sleek elevated space. I had purchased with the thought of using this in my kitchen, but the round base is too large and I have to keep on the floor. But since it does not rotate automatically, plus the fact that the fan vents does not cover the entire length of the item, the air does not cover you while you are working or moving around. The positioning would suit if you are on sofa or you are lying down. Finally, i am also worried now on using a vacuum cleaner to clean the vents as it collects dirt a lot. Not worth the price of 9k+. Edit : it does rotate but partially, i.e., not 180 degree.

Absolutely love this tower fan! It looks modern, runs very quietly, and cools the room evenly. The touchscreen and remote make it super convenient to use. Great performance and easy to move around.

Only issue is the air throw is not enough to cover my room but it is adequate to cover a study table area or may be little more... Otherwise it is very beautiful to see.. If you need a good air throw device you might need to go for another model... So the price is little high only...

Within 1 month, it stopped rotating. Customer service is really bad. It’s been 3 months I am waiting to get it repaired. Never knew Philips customer service is this irresponsible. Service People will come check and go, then no response. They will say that part needs to come, and will make us wait for months. I am fed up. Don’t recommend Philips anymore!

Il prodotto mi pare ben costruito, solido e dall'aspetto sobrio. Il telecomando è piacevole al tatto. Così come descritto da altri acquirenti, confermo che occorre puntarlo bene, ergo frontalmente all'altezza della scritta "Philips", per trasmettere correttamente l'impulso. Il ventilatore presenta tre velocità, e qui c'è un particolare curioso: con la prima il funzionamento è silenziosissimo e si ottiene una portata d'aria sufficiente per respirare durante la notte, secondo me valida anche per il giorno, a meno che non siate troppo accaldati. Dalla seconda velocità, però, il rumore si fa decisamente sentire. Lo stacco è notevole. Ovviamente la portata d'aria aumenta considerevolmente, tant'è che la terza velocità mi pare addirittura superflua. Ripeto, però, che con la velocità di base si ottiene un discreto flusso di aria, personalmente mai ottenuto da altri ventilatori a torre posseduti. A me viene da pensare che sia stato progettato per funzionare al minimo per la maggior parte del suo ciclo vitale. Non ho provato il sistema di diffusione degli aromi. Consiglio l'acquisto, mai deluso da un prodotto Philips.
