Great Product, Easy to Use, Good Quality
Honestly, I wasn’t sure about using caps for our cats. Until our older male cat started having skin issues. We have been to the vet a number of times. With little to no success- in helping him with his itchy skin. It would get so bad that we would find scratch sores and punctures in his neck area. We have been trying to help our male cat for a little over 3 years now. I had toyed with the idea many times, of getting caps for his back feet nails. To prevent these sores. But he was an indoor/ outdoor cat all his life. And I didn’t want him to be vulnerable to other cats or dogs, climbing and such. But over the last year or so- he has begun to stay inside more and more. So I finally gave into this idea of putting caps on him.Wow! What a difference for this loving cat! He can scratch himself without digging into his skin. The sores are clearing up. And he seems so much more content. I have also found a good medicated allergy shampoo, which seems to be helping as well. I couldn’t be more pleased with these caps. They are easier to put on than I thought they might be. If you’ve ever put fake nails on your own nails- it’s perhaps easier than that process. Certainly not harder. Other than maybe the cat not being cooperative, that is the only possible issue I can see.I enlisted the help of my 13 year old daughter. Who found all of this very interesting and fun. Our big old male cat is super mellow, so no surprise- this all went as easy as it could go. We chose to lay him on his back, while on my daughters out stretched legs. She held his upper half against her tummy, really just to secure him. I managed the back feet only.I first laid out all the caps on a thickish paper plate, got tube of glue ready- then got the cat in position. I quickly tested which cap would fit best each of his nails. Then I picked up one cap at a time, squeezed the cap until the opening was more rounded- put in the glue. (Tip: Don’t over fill, you only need to fill the cap to less than half full. Once the cap goes on, the glue will displace and fill the cap. Overfilling will result in glueing the cap to the toe or fur. That’s a whole different problem...) Pushed to extend out his claw. And then while still holding the cap with the opening in the rounded position- popped it over the nail. Pushed in place and was done. I didn’t need to trim the caps at all (bought size Medium for my 14 lbs cat) for the back feet. If I had also done the front, I may have needed too though. The caps are soft enough, so cutting shouldn’t be a problem for sharpe scissors.Once all were on, like 10-12 minutes later, we kept an eye on our cat for about 20 minutes. But honestly didn’t need to. He shook his feet a few times after we let him go. But soon after that- he couldn’t have cared less about them. It’s been 4 days now and they are still on / secure and he seems unaware of them- in a good way. He scratches his itchy neck, seems to get whatever relief he is looking for. But no more deep scratches or punctures to report! I am VERY happy that I decided to put these caps on him. And yes, I do recommend them for indoor cats.

They were great!
They fit him perfectly, they were easy to apply and did exactly what I want it to do! No scratching of any furniture and don’t bother him at all. Will definitely buy more in the future

Good deal, and good quality.
I like these, but the kitten size seems a bit big! We tried these with our sitter's 8 month old kitten, and it was pretty good, but still a tiny bit big. The glue is pretty decent quality. Sticks, but doesn't go insane so the kitten is hurt if the cap gets caught. Perfect balance if you ask me. Also, I like that there are 5 sets if you want to cap all paws...we will probably only cap front while we are teaching her where she can scratch, and she is little. Once she knows what to do, we are hoping we won't have to cap anymore. All in all these are pretty thick, really cute colors and good, easy to use glue. I am happy with them.

so so
they work good for a little while but if your cat gets them caught on something they can rip their nail off.

Great nail covers
Love these cat nail covers. My cat is constantly scratching her ears and causing sores, but with these nails she can scratch without hurting herself. Very easy to attach and last about a month until the nail falls off.

Great product at a very low price!
My cat is mean to most people and my dog. I have been using nail caps for years so that his scratches no longer hurt. It also makes it a lot more fun to play with him when his claws aren't digging into your skin. The caps are a great alternative to declawing. They are relatively easy to put on if you can get your cat to stay still. I usually bring him into a small room like the bathroom so that he can't run away and hide, then hold him on my lap while applying. My cat is about 15 lbs and I use the Large size. They seem to fit well after I trim the top of his claws.I have used many different brands of nail caps. This brand is not the best when it comes to how long they stay on but these are by far the best value for the money. Other brands I have purchased for about $15-20 and the pack only comes with 40. Buying 100 for $10 is a great deal and it doesn't bother me that they don't stay on as long as other brands because I got so many caps for such a cheap price. In the past I have had issues with the glue for the nail caps, where I would buy a pack and the glue it came with would be hard and not useable. This package came with 5 tubes of glue and all of them are useable! Overall, this was a great find and in a few months when I run out of these caps I will purchase this set again.

Saved My Furniture, My Leg, and My Sanity!
I rescued a wonderful stray kitty cat about 2 months ago. He's very friendly when he's in the mood, but sometimes he takes a strike at my leg, especially if I'm not quick enough opening the can of cat food. Prior to covering his claws, that drew blood! Furthermore, I bought a new chair and love seat, and was horrified when kitty sharpened his claws with great gusto on the side of the chair! I read all the reviews before I bought these. My cat is a big-boned 10 lb. cat, probably has some Main Coon in his lineage, so bought size L. After attempting to get kitty 'in position' for the procedure, I saw immediate it was going to be a terrible struggle and a lot of stress for Kitty and me! I wound up taking him to a local groomer to have the claw covers adhered, and she had them on him in five minutes. BEST $ I ever spent ! ! Kitty never licked the claw covers; never attempted to remove them; never seemed bothered by them in the least. I never see cat littler stuck between them or anything like that. Plus, Kitty looks very cute! I chose green sparkly nails. I believe this is one of the best inventions EVER!! and I highly recommend this brand. FYI, the groomer told me she thought they were a little large, except the thumb nail which was exactly the right size for the 'large' claw covers. Nonetheless, they've been on for over a week - almost 2 weeks - w/no problem so I'm not going to order 'medium' until these run out. If these continue to be OK,, I'm just going to stick with large. I DO recommend letting a groomer do the job. I paid $20 for ten claws which was a DEAL!!
