On the second batch, I threw majority of the 100 in with my very hungry pea puffers. They went to town quickly lol so I never really spot any scuds in the 10 gallon. Hardly put any into this tank with baby guppies, shrimp and snail tank. They’ve really taken off! I love that I can just take a floating plant and throw it into my 10 gallon and tons of scuds will fall off to feed my puffers! They’re clearly super healthy lil dudes, they reproduce quick (which you want for fish!) and they’re a wonderful addition to a clean up crew. Love Critters Direct!

All alive! Not one dead. Around 100 I would say or more. There’s tiny babies and many that are egg bearing. 10/10!

A little light on the count I think but so small hard to say. I got these to help keep my tank clean, but I believe my fish ate them all before they had a chance to do anything of the sort great fish food not so good for tank cleaners the fish eat them all.

The scuds came live and well except for a dozen of them but theirs definitely 100 or more alive so they must of threw in extra in case .would reccomend.

I didn't count them obviously but they were all alive and there were some detritus worms as well which is a bonus. If I could do anything different I would order more especially if you're getting these to put in a tank with livestock that would eat them (puffers, guppies, etc.). I love how active and fast they are. I know they act as a clean up crew and I kinda like their appearance more than all the bladder snails that clean up tanks. I made sure to have lots of plants, moss and places for them to hide so hopeful they can escape all the predators in my tanks and still do their clean up job. They're definitely the most expensive aquatic livestock I've ever bought so I definitely hope they can escape the fish. They are obvious to spot in a tank, not small like copepods. Expensive but I'll probably order again and just keep them in their own nano tank because having them in a tank with established other fish is stressful, I did a water change and siphoned the substrate and had to net them out. It arrived faster than the original estimate.

I bought scuds from another website. I was disapointed with that order. They were tiny if they were there at all and after several months I only had a few scuds. I took a chance and ordered from here and boy am I happy I did. I got a bag with big, easy to see, scuds. I put them in about a five gallon tank and they are thriving. I think I will be able to add some to my fish tanks soon.

The media could not be loaded. I've been having my lights on extra long to grow algae before I got these little studs. As you can see they are loving it. Had many various sizes come in, and they immediately took to the tank! Hoping to grow a sizeable population before I add my fish. I definitely recommend these guys, very active and actually very fun to watch too!
