Great product, but falsely advertised - too large for windshield of 2018 Toyota Tacoma

I am very impressed with this Thickened Automotive Glass Sunshade! It fits perfectly on my windshield and does a fantastic job of keeping my car cool, even on the hottest days. I love that it comes with a storage bag super convenient for keeping it neat and tucked away when not in use. It’s easy to set up, easy to take down, and works well on both my SUV and truck! covers the whole windshield. Overall, an excellent purchase and a must-have for anyone who wants to protect their car’s interior and stay cool. Highly recommend!

Typical hoop styled window shade...if you know how to fold them it's convenient. These are a bit more square in shape so you have to get the fold process down or they can get a little twisted, plus the hoops are connected so there's the issue of folding the shade in half before you compress it. There is a provided bag, but it's pretty cheap and snug fitting - which is sort of a bad thing since you really have to fold it perfectly to get it to fit. The shade is nice and thick though, so it makes it noticeably darker and cooler than without. The top of the shade has a cutout with a strap so you can wrap it around your rearview mirror to make it fit snugger to your windshield. I prefer to not wrap under the mirror since it's one more step - I just used the mirrors to hold in place. The medium fit my Subaru Outback perfectly.

This thing almost fits my van windshield. Not quite the perfect fit, but close enough to block most of the sun. When I opened it, the edges were stuck together like it had been stored in a glue trap! I was 99% sure it would tear, so I peeled it apart like I was handling ancient scrolls. Yes, it keeps the van cooler. That’s the one thing keeping this from being a total fail. But folding it back up? Straight-up chaos!! 😡😡 The “twist to fold” design is confusing, frustrating, and feels like a booby trap. I’m one wrong move away from snapping the wire and getting smacked in the face. If you want shade and don’t care about storage, fine. But if you value your sanity, look elsewhere!

Update (see second photo): after a couple of weeks of using this shad, I’ve got the hang of getting this up and the wrinkles have mostly cleared. Review still stands, I’d buy this again. 👍 —————— As the title states, this sun shade does what it needs to. While it’s not the sturdiest and is a little on the flimsy-side, but it does a great job at keeping the heat out. We had a 90+ degree day today and the inside of my car felt significantly cooler than before I started using a shade. In addition, my leather seats don’t feel hot to the touch like they usually would. As mentioned, it’s not the sturdiest, but the fact that it can fold down into a pretty compact size is better than the bulkier models. With all this said, the price point really just can’t be beat. NOTE: this was used in a 2020 Chevy Equinox

Its a good product and does its job of not making my car so hot. It was a bit smaller for my windshield, even though it said it was a good size for my car, but nonetheless it covers the majority of my windshield. Easy to fold and put up.

Perfect size to be able to fit and hold against the top of the SUV. Got good time to test it when the temperature became warm in Texas during 2025 Christmas. Kept the inside cool.

The product does work and reflect light, making the car a lot cooler. Especially if you don't have tinted windows like myself. The cost is very good. I do struggle with getting it back down to shape and when I do, I can't get it back into it's storage. I used their guide to pick out which size would fit my Venue, and it suggested the large. Well, it absolutely does not fit. I should've just gone with my gut and got the next size down. Still, it works and I'll hold on to it because is so hot here and not using the rear mirror slot, I can put my sun visors down to keep it up.
