Super sharp! In fact, so sharp, I bought a holder for them for the drawer! These should come with sleeves! Great for cooking! Just watch your fingers! I really only needed the pearing knife but the set was on sale!

When I mentioned to my husband that I needed some new kitchen knives, he said one word: Henckel. I purchased this set and after using the Henckel brand one time, I realized how dull (and rusted) my old knives were. This set is very functional and each one is comfortable in my hand. This set was a great price point and will handle everything I need in the kitchen. Words of caution: knives are EXTREMELY sharp!

Best knives I've ever owned. The quality of the steel blades are so much better than most knives. I cook a lot and so enjoy having sharper knives that you don't have to saw through vegetables and meats.

Probably too tough at 4*s but I can't help comparing them to my top end Messermeister German knives that I got as a gift years ago and are not here where I am living at the moment. Comparison is not justified really - one of those costs way more than this set of 3, so this is a superb value. Really wonderful knives. You can get them very sharp. The only reason for 4* is that they I feel I have to be touch them up before I use them. But I like scalpel sharp knives and use a ChefsChoice electric sharpener using the fine ceramic slot. I would recommend these absolutely. Be aware that ChefsChoice can eat cheap knives, and that is NOT a problem with these. Finally, these 3 are all I need in my kitchen (I'm particular about my equipment). No need for any others in addition.

These are beautiful knives. Very sturdy. They cut well. All 3 sizes are very handy. A great value.

I really like these knives. Sharp from the box. I used the chefs knife on Thanksgiving and it worked great. My old one broke at the handle so I ordered this set just for the chefs knife basically. I think this one is batter made.

Rusted! Very sturdy and great at cutting. Disappointed as knives have rust spot after dishwashing.

The knives have just the right balance between the weight of the blade and the handle that makes it very comfortable to hold. The 6” knife was longer than I thought. Takes a little getting used to.

I didn't realize how bad my old set was until I got this set. I cut my finger on the first use. Be careful. These knives are beautiful and very, very sharp (as a kitchen knife should be). I love them.

These were a replacement for my 20-year-old knives. They work very well, and are as sharp and functional as it says in the description. The 3 sizes are great for someone who doesn't do a lot of fancy cooking, but needs decent knives when they do. I also bought 3 knife sheaths that fit perfectly, and will protect the knives (and my fingers) when they're in the drawer.
