It leaks tea leaves pretty bad. I dont think that the seal is tight enough. I stopped using it after a few times. I can deal with a piece here and there but this leaked a bit more than that.

I bought this because we winter heat our home with a woodstove. Sometimes it is nice to put some spices in a pot on the stove. I've been just adding them into the water.My Mom suggested I get something to put them in that would make it easy to remove when the "good" is gone. So I looked and found this. The 2 inch one is perfect and keeps the spices in one easy to clean unit. I would recommend this technique to anyone. This particular item is very well constructed and strudy. It would also make a fantastic tea ball, which is its intended use.

I thought I was getting a smaller tea infuser, but this one is much bigger than expected, or than I can use. I'll keep it around for seasoning stews and soups, but it won't help much with my tea.

I was looking for a tea ball for a while and thought this is a good option. Before you buy make sure you have an idea on the dimensions, as it not that easy to fit in a cup. Its good however for cooking

So far so good! looks sturdy! Easy to open and close!It was perfect size I needed.Will hold a lot of tea leaves, enough to make a big pot of tea!not for mugs!

Works great for my ginger and mint blending to my tea after I brew my one gallon of tea at a time. Holds lots of ginger and mint leaves.

Great gadget. I bought it to add peppercorns and other spices to soup and be able to remove easily. Works great for that and tea brewing.
