The only Floaties I use
Overall, these are well worth the price and so much better than inflatable floaties. They hold me up in the water perfectly, at around 200 pounds. The material is soft and comfortable. While they do take up a little bit more space than a deflated floaty, they still fold up nicely for easy storage. I have bought four of them and use them throughout one summer. There’s been no fading, no discoloration, and no significant bead loss. Occasionally, the little white beads that are inside of the floaty, will sneak out if the zipper is cracked. My only complaint would be that between the four Floaties I have, one of them has less beads than the others. And while it is softer (more give) and likely holds less weight, I can still easily float in it. Others that use them at my home always comment about how much they like them! I’m looking forward to purchasing other things by the same brand, assuming they are items that will last for years.

Love this thing!
Saw someone at the pool with one of these and had to get my own to try. I love it. It floats really well and is 100 times better than those styrofoam noodle chairs/slings that sink low and toss about. This Big Joe seat is ultra buoyant and very steady in the water. It holds a little water, so it doesn't dry immediately like those plastic, inflatable floats. Small price to pay for something that is way more comfortable, much easier to use, works better, and will last much longer. The float arrived with a few white "beads" stuck to the float - which is to be expected and easy to pick off. The zippers were fully closed and seem sturdy. To those folks complaining about (& returning) their floats because there was no zipper pull: there is not meant to be a pull in order to lessen the chances of the zipper being inadvertently opened and spilling white beads everywhere. If you need to open the zipper, just thread through a paper clip and use that as the pull.

Best pool float around
I have bought two of these and everyone who has used them loved them. They float you at the perfect depth even if your a bigger individual. When you sit in it you sit with the top of your shoulders just above water the water line.

Great pool floatie. Takes some time to dry
Love my big Joe pool seat. It’s very comfortable and lightweight (dry). However it takes a while to dry and initially carries a lot of water in it. Takes some time to drain. Love it so much, I bought one for my daughter.

great for the WHOLE family, dogs too!
From Lilie, the dog: I was made to lounge in the pool. This is perfect. Hand me an umbrella drink. I even learned how to get on this myself. From Otis, the dog: I'm getting used to it. Dad has to pick me up to get me in because I'm not as nimble as my sister. But once my back feet are on the "seat" and my front feet are on the noodle, I can balance well and relax. From the humans: These are awesome! They are just beans with a cloth cover and cloth seat so no air required, so puncture holes from dog nails. The water drips out easily and quickly when we take them out of the pool and they are light when not wet. There are several ways to sit/lounge on them and I also use them to get leg exercise by using it like a kickboard. Great price and color selection here on Amazon compared to Leslies.

Beat the competition
Universally everybody thought who useD these they were comfortable and easier to handle than those silly noodles that you try to stay on top of them they pop out or worse yet require a constant vigilance to be able to keep upright. The only one that did not agree is one complaint of a back ache because it put the torso in a forward position. Once it was explained that you put the flotation more to the front the back issues ceased. The pellet composition, makes the center of buoyancy shiftable much like a bean bag. I would highly recommended for comfort of use and relaxation. Only downside is the do not store usually. They take up a fair amount of space, but much more durable than an inflatable that loses pressure and then it’s shot. I don’t see what would fall apart on these except that particulate flotation wears out and you might have to stuff more in, but probably durability equal to the UV deterioration of the fabric unless it’s stored inside.

the cup/can holder is often under water if you are the least bit heavy!

I tried this and it doesn’t keep anyone afloat. It’s faulty. I only weigh 115 and I sank!
