Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine, 500mL - Specially Designed Car Polish Made Especially For Dark Coloured Cars, Leave Your Paintwork with a Smooth Even Gloss and Enriched Colour

Some mixed reviews on Amazon ref this product but I thought I would give it a go. I have a new black metallic car and whilst on holiday in Spain this summer, the car was covered in insects of all descriptions. In desperation I took it to a jet car wash, in my defence it does say in the handbook that carwashes are OK right from the start! However I believe that something was added to the final rinse to aid drying. "Whata mistaka to maka" Even though I dried the car in the shade with a chamois it was covered in round water spots that no amount of subsequent cleaning/polishing would remove. Ultra deep Shine did the job, it was very easy to put on, only do one panel or half the roof or bonnet at the time and try not to get it on the trim! A bit of elbow grease required to get it off but what a difference. The water spots were gone and a beautiful deep shine to the car. I had no residue problems, I think people tend to put to much polish or wax on their cars and then find it difficult to get off and the dreaded residue problems. I finished the job with Meguiars Gold Class wax and now the car is looking better than when it came out of the showroom earlier this year. Highly recommended.

Well, this product - like every Auto Glym I have tried so far - delivers, and how - OK, so my 2001 car is a little marked, especially on the bonnet from stone-chips, but this is a superb polish that makes the best of the midnight-blue colour. Why 4 stars then? The bonnet has taken me the best part of 40 minutes to apply the polish, wait for the - very quick - haze to form, and then do the buffing: the last was not as easy as many polishes I have used, but the result well worth while, and I do not begrudge the effort - just make a note NOT to take on too much - the advice on the container is to do one panel at a time ... and I am sure is well intentioned. But, persevere ... and reap the rewards - an excellent, deep gloss finish that makes the very most of your car's paint-work. Superb - and very very worth the effort!. As for the service and delivery - cannot fault it, as ever - parcel arrived promptly, well protected and undamaged - thank you.

I have always used Autoglym on my cars as in my opinion it is the best polishing product on the market for the price. I previously used the normal Autoglym polish but I do not have a garage and I bought a new (1 year old) car 3 weeks ago. Anticipating another harsh winter, I ordered the Ultra Deep Shine and I am extremely pleased wth the product so far. It is easy to apply and although it requires a bit more elbow grease than other polishes, the finished result is worth it! Another huge plus is that it cost about half of the price I would have paid in shops such as Halfords and a little goes a long way, so it should last me a while. I would definitely recommend this product for protecting the paintwork and giving a great shine to a car of any age.

By far the best shine I have had on my black bike ,easy to apply and hardly an effort to buff up would definitely recommend

Used all car polish and sometimes gone back to cheaper ones and regretted it ended up buying autoglime again and costing more this is the best polish you get a perfect finish gold liquid seems the best but have used every one tyre interior etc all give brilliant finish you won't go wrong and you need to try well done autoglime excellent Mike Reed

Auto Glym 500ml Ultra Deep Shine Bought this product after much deliberation and reviewing other products of a similar type. It stated that it was for new or older paintwork, particularly dark colours, i was sold as it quoted that it would hide minor blemishes and scratches in older paintwork. To start the product is a white cream and is fairly easy to apply, however when polishing off it leaves a white dust across all finishes that are not polished i.e plastics and glass. After perseverence it does leave a nice shine on the paintwork and does seem to last a while, but it doesn't seem to cover the minor blemishes i was hoping it would, in fact it did the opposite and the white residue highlighted all the tiny stone chip marks on the front bumper and bonnet of the car that makes it now look like white paint has been splashed on the car. I would suggest this product is fine on new paintwork but be careful on anything less than perfect finishes. I am now looking for a product that will remove the white dots all over the front of my car!!

Great product, it really shines!

This product was recommended to me by a local, well respected auto body repair shop. This weekend I used it on my black metallic GMC vehicle. As advertised, the product polished out light scratches, cleaned the finish and left a deep, mirror-like shine. I used a Milwaukee RO buffer. Easy on, easy off. Highly reccomended!
