I was very excited to get this case; it looked remarkable in the pictures and perfect to keep my cosmetics, skin care and brushes safe on trips. Unfortunately, I’m returning the case for the following reasons: 1) hinges are so tight that they made a horrible popping sound leading me to reason 2) plastic is not as sturdy as I hoped which I realized as I was trying to open the case-one wrong move in my suitcase, and I’m afraid it would cave, and 3) this just isn’t large enough for everything, and with the fixed compartments, some of my favorite travel palettes would have to be left at home always. It is a beautiful case, no doubt, and I had high hopes for it, but in the end, I just couldn’t keep it. Update: The seller contacted me (great service by the way) and addressed my concerns listed above, and I decided to go ahead and keep it in spite of my worries. Here’s what I found: 1) The hinges, while still tight, have stopped making the really bad popping/creaking sounds with use. They are probably that tight to keep the lid open when in use. 2) Yes, it doesn’t hold my large palettes, but it does hold WAY more than I anticipated, especially with some creative arranging. I actually don’t use the pencil/brush holders on the flaps so I can fill my case to the top and still have the flaps close properly. 3) I just toted this thing around in my suitcase for 14 days in and out of cars, hotels, AirBnBs, and an international flight, and it is sturdy. I’ve been very thankful for the organization and ability to use the lighted mirror to do my makeup pretty much anywhere. As much as I travel, this is going to become a permanent piece in my luggage set!

I love everything about this case! The style. The color. The material and texture of the case. The lighted mirror. This case sits in my lap when I'm traveling and riding in a car and wish to put on makeup. I love that it is sturdy and easily holds all my makeup. The fold out brush pockets are so useful and handy! It's easy to organize my makeup in this case. The mirror lights up my face well! The size of the mirror is big enough to easily see my face and neck. The lights light up all corners and edges of my face. The clasp keeps the case shut when not in use, and doesn't accidentally open. The handle is sturdy and strong. The case is very durable and strong, not bending or breaking. This is a very classy looking case that is highly functional. I really like it! It's perfect for my needs. I keep travel sized makeup in it and also rotate my other makeup into it. I keep it full so I can grab and go as needed when traveling or taking a weekend road trip.

I love it! In response to some of the negative comments, I disagree and here's why. "cheap looking" - I purchased the black case. It's very rich looking. "cheaply made" - Nope! The case is heavy and solid. There are feet on it to protect it whether it is standing or laying flat. The latches are firm & tight so there is no worry about it flying open. "it's heavy" - Yes, but not too heavy for what it does. If I were to pack a GOOD lighted makeup mirror and equivalent makeup, the weight would be comparable, but I'd have 2 things to carry instead of one. "the hinge is really tight" - Yep! And that is a good thing! It is designed to stay open while using as well as being able to adjust the angle slightly to accommodate your position. "the light should be adjustable" - It is. Read the direction. By pressing & holding the button you can adjust the brightness. "needs magnification" - Not sure how that could work. Magnification requires you to get up close to the mirror. This case isn't conducive to that. Using a separate handheld magnifier makes more sense. Really, the only thing I would change, is making the compartments adjustable. I love that it is plastic, which makes cleaning easy, but the fixed size does limit what it can hold. Other than that, I give this 5 stars!

This is a great case everything is great lots of room to hold all my make-up, but after about two months one side of the handle broke, I still use it I just carry it around, I still carry it by the handle and the other side has not broken off for one year so I don't know why the other side didn't last. There are three settings for the light really cool.

Case is solid and has what my wife wanted .... EXCEPT for the light... We charge it fully... all the lights show it's fully charged and the light only works for about 10 minutes total and then goes dead! We charged it for 10 hours twice and only got about 10 minutes total... My wife takes 10 minutes just to get started in front of the mirror and since she wanted it for remote use it's worthless... I threw away a huge amount of Money $$$ and I'll have to throw the case away and find something that will actually stay on so my wife can put her face on at least once without falling into darkness.!!!

I absolutely love this makeup case ! I take it everywhere I travel and it’s a godsend ! The light up mirror is fantastic too ! It could be a little deeper but that’s ok ! I simply love it! It’s high quality and very durable and well made ! Highly recommend!

Good but expensive

Arrived with no charger, marks inside and one of the clasps is a little loose - probably a return. Otherwise seems OK.
