This is a great massager. I use it on any sore spots. It has a powerful motor with a high stopping force. The battery lasts more than long enough. How did I get by without this?

I wish I had bought this years ago! It really helps to get knots out of my shoulders. It is quite powerful and came out of box half charged so we were able to use it right away. The triangular handle makes it easy to hold onto.

This is a game changer. Easy to hold if you have problems with your hands. Like arthritis. Several speeds makes it nice to choose from. Well worth the monies. I have had others but non compares to this. Enjoy!

Knots, gym or muscle soreness? This is what you need. if you are sensitive to touch, this is not for you. The lightest setting is stronger than most other imitators. This will give you that deep tissue action, oh so good!Battery life isn't the best but you shouldn't be using for more than 15 minutes at a time anyway. The amount of power that this delivers, you shouldn't expect a 6 hour run time... they're not headphones, you know!

So I have had the privilege of owning both the Hypervolt and this 5th Gen. I will make it simple.The Hypervolt has approximately 1/4 inch less travel than the 5th Gen. It relies on higher RPM's , so it's method of action is vibrating your muscles into submission. The Theragun JACKHAMMERS muscles with brute force! But with about a thousand RPMs less. So if you want a little more gentle vibration every muscles, then get the Hypervolt. If you want to be the living snot out of your muscles, then me 5th gen is for you.On that note, the only thing I can't stand about this 5th gen is the awful battery! It literally only lasts about 45 minutes at full tilt. Hope this helps. :-)

I have a cheap massage gun bought on Amazon, and I thought it was great. A few months ago, a friend had me try the Theragun Elite, and all I can say is WOW! I had no idea there could be so much of a difference, but this one is SO much better! It's much more powerful and sturdy, and easily gets deeper into your muscles (be careful not to bruise them!) The companion app with routines and personalized suggestions for you is just icing on the cake. A cheaper gun still works, but you definitely get what you pay for!

Charged to 100% upon receiving. Will not turn on. Plugged into charge again, battery reads 0% on charge now, with 2 mins between unplugging and reconnecting. Defective. Currently in process of returning. Appears seller is not an “authorized reseller of theragun” buyer beware

I've had massage guns in the past, but this one takes the cake. USB-C charging and the charge lasts quite a while. Beware, it's strong! I almost always use the lowest setting and it's still a bit intense from time to time. Still worth it and use it almost daily
