Mailbox post
Hammered in place. After removing rotted post, slipped hollow mailbox plastic post over the new wood post. Secured with screws and it standing upright, firmly anchored

Made of good wood , and the perfect size , use a fence post driver to easily drive home the spike, it fit the standard US Post office plastic mailbox as designed

Great for what I needed!
I used this for a metal post install I was putting in concrete, I wasn't worried about having the full length of the metal post, and it saved me a trip to the hardware store!

Very Sturdy.
I didn't get a picture of the post but it holds this mailbox very nicely. I was skeptical about hiw sturdy it would be. It's very sturdy. Doesn't wiggle at all. Would recommend.

Wrong 4x4 post.
The size is to short. It’s only two feet long And it’s was recommended by the vendor. You need at least 5 feet to mount the mailbox and attached the screws to secure the plastic mailbox fixture. Had to visit Home Depot to get a the correct size.

This mailbox post kit makes installing a mailbox, even in the rock hard caliche of Arizona, a breeze. Two 70+ year old women+ one mailbox kit, one sledge hammer, and one plastic mailbox= a perfectly beautiful solution, and at a very good value!
