I love the variety of colors in this set!! I'm not an expert on these, but this is the first mug I've painted with oil based paint and the finished project looks and feels like a level up from other paints I've tried (like acrylic and enamel).The darker colors seem to go on much smoother and the finish is superb. Whereas with the lighter colors I had to go over twice to minimize pen strokes. The difference after baking the mug is similar. Dark colors feel very smooth and the light colors feel a little more coarse. I didn't have issues with the paint pooling or splattering like I read in other reviews. These were simple to get started and not messy at all. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this set and definitely recommend!!

Bright colors and lots of colors to choose from. They are great for painting rocks.

I got these for an art project with my students and they were great for coloring on mylar balloons. The problem was that some caps really don't pull off well, resulting in some kids unscrewing the caps and getting paint all over the tables, floor, and more. Knowing that in advance, I would have likely chosen a different marker.

The Good: Paint seems good quality. Low Smell. Easy application.The Bad: Color on cap does not match color of paint. At random times, with numerous colors, paint starts pouring out of pen. Several times when removing pen cap, paint poured out everywhere. This happened before pressing down on paint pen tip. These paint pens are an impending disaster.

I bought a smaller pack of these a while ago since POSCA pens had gotten popular but they were more expensive. 10/10, I use them for everything. They work on every surface I’ve tried. These are more vibrant, easier to use, and totally opaque. The color range in this set is great and the color of the cap is very accurate to the paint. Don’t even bother with POSCA markers- get a set of these for cheaper and enjoy a fantastic pack of excellent paint markers.

I like the fact that (as new) these markers are individually wrapped to protect product from leaking, However this fact can also confirm when items have been used. 5 markers in the set I received had been used (one having had another color paint mixed with it, staining the tip). When product is returned, please check to see if it's been used and sell it as such. Disappointed I paid for "new" priceing for "used" merchandise. I will not return because the 5 pens just isn't justifiable to return the whole box.Review of the product - the paint seems much thinner that another set of oil based paint markers I have...unsure yet how that will affect the outcome.
