The original Liquid Leaf Metallic Gilding Paint 35ml - Brass

Pigment seems too heavy for the medium, separates easily and does not mix back together well even with vigorous shaking, which creates a streaky finish even when re-mixed between each dip of your brush/sponge/whatever.The Brass colour is also quite dreadful - it has an unmistakeable green tint to it that is not attractive, and does not improve if you use several coats. It also dries unevenly, and there is not the usual metallic sheen to it that you would expect. All in all, quite disappointing, especially as others in this range are absolutely beautiful (the silver is especially lovely to work with).

This is a really useful paint. I used it to freshen up an old biscuit tin.The only down side is that, when buying online, the colours displayed on the screen are always different from reality. It's therefore very hard to order exactly the right colour. If you are happy, as I was, to accept that what you order might a shade or two lighter or darker than you imagine, then buy online. If you need a precise colour, then a trip to a model shop might serve you well.

Very good paint. Reclaimed a doorknocker with it. Needs a protective coat though.
