Gm 5.3 AFM Lifter Replacement Kit. Head Gasket Set, Head Bolts, Full Lifter Set.

THIS KIT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE GASKETS AND LIFTERS. I ALSO PURCHASED A NEW VALLEY PAN/VALVE LIFTER. THE TRUCK (YUKON XL) RUNS LIKE NEW AGAIN. ONE RECOMMENDATION, BUY LIFTER TRAYS/GUIDES IN ADDITION TO EVERYTHING ELSE. I DIDN'T DO SO AND SPENT SEVERAL HOURS CHASING DOWN THE LIFTER GUIDES AFTER DISCOVERING THAT ONE OF MINE WAS BROKEN. AFTER ALL, THEY ARE $10-$15 PARTS (THOUGH I DECIDED TO REPLACE ALL FOUR) AND WELL WORTH THE PIECE OF MIND.

Do yourself a favor and don't try to save a few bucks on this kit vs factory GM stuff. Lifters are way too noisy. Going to drive it a few more days and if noise goes away. Total waste of my time and money especially if I end up buying factory lifters and doing it over again. (Yes, I did put a factory oil manifold and cam in it.) Been a service tech for 20 and I knew better than to buy this junk. Just wanted to save a few extra dollars. Exhaust manifold gaskets were the cheap non MLS (multilayer steel) that blow out easily. Through those in the trash. Valve cover gaskets wouldn't come close to staying put in valve covers. Bought factory exhaust gaskets and valve cover gaskets. Truck has ran for 45 mins and I've put a few miles on it. Sounds like junk. Update, Put in GM lifters and no more rattle noise. Do not buy this product unless you like noise.

Lifters are not very good in this kit, right out of the box one was collapsed, after installing (allowing them all to soak in engine oil for 48 hours) two were extremely Noisy, tried getting ahold of the company for warranty never got any replies. Pulled all lifters and sent the whole kit back they refunded me partially and sent me an email saying they don’t accept junk, when their part numbers were on every one of the lifters, and you could obviously tell they had no miles on them. But you live and you learn. Bad customer service, below average quality control.

This kit worked but parts did not feel the same quality as oem.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I bought this kit to replace all hydraulic lifters in my 2007 Chevy suburban. I had one collapsed....well they came in two different packages. One was cracked on the bottom straight out of the box. My motor has now been torn apart 3 times!! First time there cylinder one was not pumping correctly. Mind you this was as soon as it was put together. And took it apart to find that lifter collapsed. So I bought one at a local auto part store. Everything was tore back down. And put back together and now the another ones is not working. So I still had to go buy 7 more of the spring lifters. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone! I am now on my 3rd set of head bolts which to happen to be about $30 a pop. I then contacted about a Partial refund since it was just past the 30 days. And have yet to hear anything. I have now wasted almost $600 on this crap they sell. So to anyone looking I would just go to your local part store and order them. Will cost more but atleast they will work.
