Simple Food Project - Beef & Salmon Recipe - Freeze Dried Raw Food for Dogs - 48oz

Cassie our 3 year old Chihuahua is the most picky eater I have ever owned in a dog in my 68 years of age. We have tried everything from wet, dry, pour overs and several kinds of freeze dried and have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying to get her to like something. This food is a blessing, she nibbles it all day off and on, but thats ok we'll take that. The smell is a little strong but as long as she's eating it , it's fine. I hope this continues to be a good food for her, the convenience is great, the price is a little high but we've even tried the F.D. and a couple of other frozen delivered meals all of which were ridiculously too high in price, as we're seniors on a tight budget. So thank you and keep your fingerscrossed for us......

My French bulldog loves this dog food! I was looking to switch from a traditional kibble style food to something more quality and this is a great find! I'm so pleased with the quality and appearance. It doesn't have an overwhelming odor, it smells light and fresh. My dog had a bit of looser stool for a few weeks while transitioning to this food, but now she's healthy, energetic, and no more diarrhea. The size of the kibbles is just right for her needs. She literally sits on the rug and whimpers while I prepare her dinner now. I always add a bit of water on the kibbles to get it rehydrated. She does well eating this food and licks the bowl clean. I love that it's raw food but it's so versatile and can be easily brought on vacation without a big mess or need for refrigeratation! For reference, my dog is 26 lbs, 9 years old french bulldog and she eats one bag per week approximately. Happy dog, happy owner!

My teacup yorkie, Peanut is absolutely obsessed with the chicken & turkey blend. He loves blueberries but for some reason he spits the freeze dried ones out and won’t eat them lol. My only gripe with this food is how expensive it is for such a small amount. My teacup yorkie is only 4.5 pounds and he can go through this bag of food in a little over a month. But compared to a lot of other freeze dried raw food, it’s the most affordable.

This was most likely the most difficult Review I have ever made! The food gets 5 stars. The packaging gets 1 star. I love the food and the quality! My dogs love the food! But honestly I do NOT love the packaging at all! The box that it comes in is absolutely unnecessary! The bags that the food comes in is a joke! There isn't a single bit of information on the bags, so when I toss the boxes, I need to write on the bags what the heck is IN the bags. That is where the information needs to be! NOT on the box which is most likely adding to the cost of the food!! The box needs to be eliminated from shipping. Put the necessary information on the bags like every freeze-dried company does, and stop shipping in those boxes; they're costing the buyer and have no purpose, what so ever in shipping.

I have the most picky senior chihuahua when it comes to food. Sparky truly has found his favorite. Love all the healthy ingredients it has and helps significantly with his digestive system. He loves the taste, the size, color and is easily chewable for dogs that hardly have teeth. The one concern is a few hard pieces that I have to remove because he hardly has teeth.

I tried many different brands and I could write a book about Frozen Dry food. This product has a great recipe and good variations of flavor. My dog has a sensitive stomach and he is on prescription GI food. we bought this product to use as a topping to make his food more desirable. I realized that my dog is picky, he did not like the food much, and he absolutely did not like cranberries (not sure if any dogs like them) The other issue is that the food was pretty hard and I had to add a hot broth to make it softer. Among different brands, this is 3 stars. Maybe for some, other dogs will work better.

We’ve tried four different recipes and he loved every single one of them. We bought both the beef/salmon and lamb from Amazon. I did transition per instructions and there was no tummy upset. I plan on continuing to feed this for his meals. Yes it’s pricey for a big dog but it’s the best freeze dried food I’ve found and he loves it. Worth it!

My four month old puppy loves this food. I’m so impressed with the quality of this food and how reasonably priced it is. I think it’s the perfect choice for people that really want to feed their dogs or cats the perfect high-quality food but at a price most people can afford.
