Not sure I want to eat them, but as an experiment, my 5 and 7 year old kiddos like watching them grow. The pink definitely grey much quicker, but I was able to get 4 blooms from the Blue mushrooms. However we never saw any shades of blue, mostly gray and white.

Editing my original one star review-it did end up growing mushrooms (hoping for my second batch now ). Keep in mind that it took way longer to grow than they say.Over all I’m just glad they grew!

I've purchased many different oyster Mushroom kits before. This brand left a moldy box on my shelf. It's been 10 days, read the instructions several times, thinking I'm missing something. Nope! Just a green/blue-ish mold that is all over now. Definitely would not recommend this brand.

Product arrived on time and i began the instructions that night. It came with a very thick mycelium barrier. But i followed as directed anyway. I had ordered one direct from nublume prior to seeing that it was on amazon. The one that came from nublume did not have the thick white barrier and began pinning within 3 days. I have a picture of them side by side attached. I've reached put to nublume about the one i ordered from here,and will be more than willing to update to 5 stars if it's resolved, till then id say 2.5 stars but rounding up to 3.Edit: I got it to pin. I decided to break open the barrier and expose the substrate. Took about 5 days or so after that and misted it. So if you notice a thick layer and you can't see the grain, you may have to do the same. I will also recommend refraining from using the humidity bags unless absolutely necessary. I put my Co2 meter in the bag with the block early on and the reading was 1000+ ppm. Ideally you want 500-700 or so to encourage fruiting. my humidity outside the bag was somewhere between 50-65% indoors and 65-80% outdoors. I set it outside the front door for a while and sprayed it 3-4 times a day and it worked fine.I bumped to 4 stars since it did in fact fruit, but I never heard anything from nublume since I emailed them.

I ordered the Blue Oysters and a Back to the Roots Kit and let me explain the quality and how the brick from BloomBox is very packed and full comparisons is 10/10 and B2tR I would rate 2/10.. I highly recommend this product. To start my husband had set it up first and he only followed the instructions on the outside of the box and it didn't grow first few days..When I noticed it wasn't growing I asked if he did certain steps as the instructions inside the box are different than whats on outside so he didn't know he had missed a big part in the set up. The instructions inside are what you need to follow for a sucessful grow.He tossed the tent bag cuz he only went by instructions on the outside of the box so I am making our own tent bag to get the mushroom back up and alive as the humidity didn't do well. After I make the tent bag, I'm almost positive it will grow right this time, and be more successful. It was error on our end for not keeping it humid.I Will definitely order again as the brick was very full, and well packed unlike others I have ordered.I rate this a 10/10. Hope this helps

I bought these to try because you were supposed to be able to spray the block instead of soaking it in water. There were contradictory statements in the directions and website. I love the smell of the material they used for the block but I was not happy the block had hardly any white to it to show the block was ready to go. I love in a desert and made a smaller cut like the suggestion in the directions. It took almost 2 weeks just to get the mycelium to spread through the block and start protruding to produce pins. I ended up making my initial cut bigger and the mushrooms started growing. The ones on the underside stopped growing and dried up while the main caps acted like they had too much moisture. I'm trying for a second flush after 1 small harvest. Nothing is happening after a week of trying.
